we have tons of fast tall people-basketball advantage, volleyball advantage, high jumping advantage

we have tons of people with high proportions of fast twitch muscles-sprint champions, and excellent for sports like weight lifting, and track field events. China not as much

we have tons of people who have great builds for Swimming

Rogue Valley posted that the USA ladies also won the Gold in the International Softball Tournament beating Japan 2-1.

To complete the trifecta

The USA women's volleyball team beat Brazil in 5 sets to claim the FIVB Volleyball Nations League title in Nanjing, China today. It was close, the USA team won the 5th set by a 15-13 score.

I think he is talking about the size of pool of athletes to select from. The larger the country the more athletes to pick from.

Nobody had a problem with the US Women's team until one of their own decided to get political. At some point athletes are going to have to realize that Americans don't like mixing partisan politics and sports. Sports is an escape.

yep and we have more ethnic diversity than some of the other large countries which means we have more talent athletically.

Not really. General American pride is fine, but stay out of the partisan crap, one side or the other will hate you for it, and sports, especially international sports, is supposed to be uniting for a country, not dividing.

And I am talking about professional sports where people pay money to be entertained. It doesn't matter one iota what an athletes thinks their "rights" are (it's not the government telling them to can it anyway), the fans want to watch the sport and escape the BS of every day life, when a narcissistic athlete decides to smear their politics all over a game it ruins the experience for the fans and turns fans of the same team against one another. It's bad for he fans, the team and the business.
