Considering Obama's vastly higher overall approval rating than Trump's, I'd say many, and no that doesn't necessarily mean you're a "never trumper".

Just because Biden was VP under Obama (or has his endorsement) does not transfer Obama's leadership skills or policy positions to Biden.

Like it or not, being Obama's VP is why he ended up being the nominee.

A lot of the Bernie voters are unhappy with the status quo and just want more disruption and chaos (they haven't had enough yet, apparently, with 4 years of Trump). If they can't have Bernie, and if Bernie doesn't throw his full weight behind Biden, more of them will vote for Trump.

There are no "bernie voters". If they had existed, Bernie would have been the nominee. They stayed home throughout the primary season.

The vast majority of those that voted for Bernie are not Trump voters. He had his shot; but delivered very little to those Bernie voters that went his way last time. The only Trump voters are his base.

It happened last time. Very like will happen again to some extent or other.

More Clinton voters went from Clinton to McCain in 2008, than Sanders to Trump in 2016, and Obama kicked McCain's ass, while Trump barely won.
The Bernie voters who defected to Trump, explained by a political scientist - Vox

There's more that meets the eye here. I'm not saying Bernie to Trump voters didn't matter, but too much emphasis is placed on them, and not enough on the over 4 million 2012 Obama voters who stood home in 2016.

If Obama can just gin up the enthusiasm in the African American community to just get out and vote, that alone will be enough.

That would be more than enough. The more people who vote the better it is for Biden. The con men know this.

How many (outside of those who are NeverTrumpers) yearn for those good old Obama days? I think that Obama will increase 'minority' voter turnout, but that alone is unlikely to put Joe "where am I?" Biden in the White House. IMHO, the 2020 POTUS election will depend on the US economy much as it normally does - if it sucks then out goes the incumbent POTUS, if it is OK or improving then the incumbent POTUS gets another term.

Trump's behvior and attitude are character issues, and I believe President Trump fails on both of these matters. His constant attacks on Journalists ignores this phrase:

I Never Argue with a Man Who Buys Ink by the Barrel – Quote Investigator

Once attributed by a number of authors, above is that link that maybe the background which President Trump ignores almost daily now:

That was likely from an era when the press (MSM?) had a much higher trust and approval rating. The flip side, of course, is that why one gets free press while another does not still means that the other is not getting free press. ;)

I don't think Biden even makes it to election day. He is going downhill fast.

Sorry!

Sorry about Bernie as well!

That didn’t work in 2016, so what’s different?

New England. They all seem to dislike him because he didn't push for universal healthcare when he had a democratic majority.

Fact check: we find this statement to be bull****.

Even if he does, I don’t see the Bernie bro’s going over to the democrat establishment candidate after hosing them yet again. No way.

You underestimate Trump as a motivating factor.

Now there is 'delusion of the day'. Please explain to our listening audience how you come to that odd conclusion.

The stage is yours:

Myc thinks the DNC will pull Mario Cuomo out of a hat at the convention and proclaim him the nominee. I don't know where he gets this idea.

Biden is doing better than Clinton did in 2016.

Biden is doing better than Clinton did in 2016.

That's not hard to do.

- Hillary Clinton's 52% unfavoralable score was the second worst in presidential polling history.

Guess who was the first?

- Trump's score was 61%, making him the worst in presidential polling history.

Such was our cream of the crop in 2016. For this, conservatives everywhere celebrate their victory.

"Conservatives" pretty much never win elections anymore unless it involves massive gerrymandering, voter suppression, or Democrats just flat out not coming out for their candidate (like the case with Hillary in 2016). They've literally only won the popular vote once (barely), in the past 30 or so years. So anytime they do win, they pretend it's a bigger win than it actually was, while accusing the other side of voter fraud as a defense mechanism.

All of this is why they have become such a bitter mob of radicalism. They don't even know how to define themselves anymore.

I suppose because the Democratic marjority in the H. or Rep. was facing a very conservative number of Republican's in the House, and in the Senate, and needed to compromise to pass the PPACA. We saw that summer a full court press by the conservative Republicans, claiming that universal health care was socialism. This meme still echoes around the internet and is believed by the biddable and ignorant who still believe social security and Obamacare are the first step to establish communism in the United States.

Obama oratory skills dwarf those of both Trump and Biden.

So from the 20 there is now 1. Obama can now campaign without showing favoritism to any one candidate.

How much effect will Obama have?

Oratory skills? So you will vote for a good speaker over an individual with skills at Government? That is rather puerile, isn't it? If not, why not vote for Mom after all her wonderful bedtime stories?
By the way, what happened to the ballot box - NONE OF THE ABOVE ?
Regard's,
CP
