Trump Mocks Dr. Ford at Campaign Rally

Only for the irrational. The Democrats tactics and activities is actually the more disgusting thing and turning more people off.

It is, and it's showing up in the polls, (fact), but remember this, the Democrats don't like facts.
They argue almost everything by using the emotional sleeve.

I see...so it is okay for people on the Left to call Kavanaugh all sorts of despicable things, doubt his veracity, assume the very worst of him.

But anyone make light of his accuser? Even using her own words against her to demonstrate problems with her testimony?

"Shame!" The Left cries. "Cretin! Fool! Liar! Sexist! Misogynist!" and on and on. All perfectly okay.

How about accepting a little of that same shame when you assume the worst of someone and feel free to vilify them at will?

Think about it. :coffeepap:

This ends the entire thread. It's over.

Had Trump mocked Kavenaugh would all you liberals still be running around with your hair on fire?

Yeah probably not hair on fire.

It is OK to mock Kavenaugh but taboo to mock Ford.

No, Kavanaugh's confirmation NOR Fords accusations should be mocked; especially not by the President of These United States.

Trump, to his credit, simply has the guts not to buy into the PC liberal nuttery.

tRump, to his discredit, simply hasn't got the brains God gave a goose nor the dignity of road poop and can't help sucked in to play to the "NUTTERY" of his base, base.

Just because I dont have blind hatred the way you do doesnt mean I have blind support. And yes, I realize SNL is a comedy show, but try to use your head for a moment. Why didnt they make fun of Ford? What Trump said was factually accurate. How do you mock someone with facts?

If I was to say that Sarah Sanders looked like a bloated heifer needing a stomach tube would be crude and rude but factual.
It is factual but no need to gloat about it to the media.

Trump could have listed the facts from the Ford case but instead he choose to take the low road and mock her with them.

But your kind will defend him no matter what. Perhaps they just need to put some salt blocks with poloxalene around the White House grounds.

It's never more blatantly on display as when they say, "Not my President." I'm like, "Really? You move and renounce your citizenship yet? Hope to it!"

One of the most difficult pills to swallow for the past two years is that cruelty is the point. I really don't have much to say anymore, and I can no longer see the practical benefit in engaging Trump supporters on much of anything.

Adiós, aloha, arrivederci, ciao, auf Wiedersehen, au revoir, sayonara, shalom, totsiens, vale, zàijiàn, goodbye.

And Thank God...
:2wave:

Our Founding Father's respected resistance. Trump is a crass, bloviating liar, maybe not all but most of our Founders would applaud those that resist him. My citizenship, and right to vote, are my most prized possessions, standing up for the dignity of my Country to this most undignified president is my honor.

I don't know why they would think we give a darn if they denounce the president as theirs. It wouldn't bother me if they decided to leave... They can rant, hold their breath until they turn blue, stomp their feet, move out of the country, but they won't change anything, and that's what really irks the control freaks.

Yes, they would applaud your right to protest...
OK, but what about the voters who don't resist, and like the job he is doing for the country? Does your resistance cancel out their vote? Do they love their country any less than you do?

Of course as many of his base, base do.

That's just sad.

Your sadness is their happiness.
Your gal lost... time for you to come to terms that Trump voters, and supporters like me, have the unfettered right to their happiness.

No they are my fellow countrymen and have every right to be wrong.

Did you watch him speak? Maybe you should then tell me if he was mocking, oh and a reminder this was Before the FBI investigation even kicked into gear, that is if it was a real investigation, that is awful on his part, we both know it, at least don't defend it.

Any president who calls the press the enemy of the people is not the people's president he is the enemy of the people.

If you support the existence of government, you are culpable, and he is your president regardless. Government is not a thing you can use against others only when it suits you, and not have others use it against you when it suits them. Of course, the only answer to that dilemma is never to advocate government in the first place, but that's beyond most of your consideration due to prior conditioning.

Fair enough, but turning a blind eye to his less (much less) than presidential moments does the country no good.

Still your Prez and they wouldn't applaud the destruction of democratic norms and liberty in the resist efforts.

Well now that's interesting, how do you think they would view tRumps "destruction of democratic norms and liberty" and the basic organizations so important to democracy; who's side do you think they would be on. I have no doubt the majority would oppose him.

Here's where I sit....I think Trump is a red herring for all of this. I 100% agree he is not presidential and doesn't have the temperament for it. That statement is on point. We got to this point because it wouldn't have mattered if it was Trump or something more amenable. The left went after Romney, one of the most milk-toast and left-of-center candidates you could get, making him to be some kind of monster.

The opposition was never honest nor really cared about decorum. It's purely partisan.

had he been mocked for exposing the sexual assault by a federal judge being considered for a seat on the supreme court, yea i would have railed against that

Oh I cared! When Romney said it wasn't his job to worry about half the people he intended to lead I became a zelot against him. Reagan turned me from Republican to Independent, Romney turned me to Democrat. I worked so hard against Romney and for Obama I got on President Obama's Christmas Card list. Anyone short of the devil himself would be a better President than our present ConMan duh n' Cheat. And if it came down to it I'm not sure I wouldn't vote for the devil.

She can or cannot recognize anything she wants. I have no control over what she recognizes or doesn't. It's still on her to corroborate her story and then, and ONLY then will I believe her.

i only hope she can get some sleep knowing how she failed to obtain your belief

ymmv It's you who has conflated the law of the land, the presumption of innocence standard our founders put in place for our country for a reason.
The man has an impeccable resume... now all of a sudden we should believe her because you do?... haha

basic civics; the advise and consent function of the senate is not a trial and thus there is no presumption of innocence standard applied on that senate application of advice and consent
