It's called willful exploitation, but on the nose I don't care for that either. Because they have their own standardized notions about right leading Jews.

I'd consider it more like exploiting the suffering that their people have suffered, especially when it's to be leveled at someone on the right. Which once again, the rule as fact, even though the Nazis were a socialist group, and it muddies the lines more than even I'm willing to admit.

This comes on the heels of Democrats jumping on the bandwagon of calling these detention centers "concentration camps" and even adding the tag line as Cortez did by saying "never again". Which is a callback to the Nazi controlled concentration camps of WW2.

I'm very impressed. So many experts here with knowledge of American Jewish political philosophies. I am a bit curious tho, how many of you self declared experts have conversed with American Jews about their past and current political philosophical opinions? Both Israel's actions and inactions in the middle east, and their support or lack of support for the statements and policies of Donald Trump? Frankly, I must question how many of these so called experts even knowingly, met an American Jew, let alone held political discourse with that person(s)?

There are between 4-6 million Jews living in America, depending on who's numbers one believes and who is defined as being a Jew. Israel claims it is now annually hosting more unique American Christian Evangelist tourists than American Jewish tourists. With about 40% of practicing American Christians belonging evangelical churches this means to me that it is easier meeting a Christian evangelist in Israel than it can be to meet an American Jew in the US. So, with only 3-4% of Americans being Jewish, what is the likelihood for any of self appointed experts here to have met one or more Jews and learning directly from the horse's mouth, so to speak, their political philosophical beliefs?

I am a bit skeptical of these experts. But then I am also skeptical of the political impact purported to belong to American Jews. There just doesn't seem to be enough of them to attribute all than much political influence in their favor. I've often heard from Jewish acquaintances, "put two Jews in a room together and you will hear three arguments about the meanings of the same concept."

First, I'm not Jewish, so I hardly feel offended. Disgusted, yes. Ashamed, yes. Any normal person with a capable brain and emotions should feel these things.

Trump is the dumbest President of all times.

Working at the same job for 10-12 bucks an hour for over a decade with little to no advancement would be a more accurate description of dumb unless that is what was wanted to happen.

Okay, so I'm often told that I am deficient or a failure in some way by the conservative posters around here, because I am paid low wages. My line of work is food production and I've been in the field for roughly 15 years. I make pretty low wages and always have. I understand in some cases, people do pay only what they can afford and not a nickel more, especially in small businesses. But, there are also some businesses where I felt exploited. Given that in the exploitative situations, my labor led to tens of thousands of dollars in profits. And my piece was a mere 3-400 dollars a week.

I recently started a job at a bakery. My wage is low. I'm not expecting to make the big bucks, but, I enjoy the hours, and it will hold me over until I can find something that pays better. (I'm still looking and applying at places that pay above $10.00/hour)

But, it has come to my attention that the head baker there, who has been employed there since the 90's. (I'm not talking the floor manager, rather the one tasked with most of the baking.) He is still making starvation wages after two decades of seniority. My question is, if these jobs top out at around $12.00/hour, are most bakers failures in life then? See When I argue economics with conservatives here, it inevitably ends with a proclamation that the reason low wage people can't go on vacations or to the doctor is because they have failed in life.

There's a logical hiccup there when you look at someone like our baker here, who is clearly not a failure. He has been dedicated. He has shown personal responsibility and he has shown a willingness to work hard, long hours.. and his end game is $12.00/hour? That's okay with you?

My solution is easy: The market has failed him and the government must step in. He should be afforded at least healthcare and 7 days vacation. And don't give me that crap that he should've made better life decisions so he didn't "wind up in some dead end job." There's nothing wrong with baking bread and selling it. If you're prepared to go that route, I hope every time you eat a piece of bread, you think to yourself some lazy piece of **** baked this.

Quite the abandonment of personal responsibility on display.
