Trump about Parkland: I really believe I’d run in there even if I didn’t have a weapon

Would you (being unarmed) have confronted someone packing an AR15? And do you believe Trump would?

I'm just curious as to people who attack others for not serving to see if they served themselves.

Did you?

It's pretty funny that you think you are in some kind of position to demand I answer your questions, especially when your questions based on stupid lies and even more so when I wasn't even talking to or about you. This was the only part of the exchange that had to do with anyone's service (Trump):

So let us talk about this because he has made this a "thing", would a 70+ puffy moderately obese man with no combat training go in and confront a 19 year old young person with an AR-15 while he was shooting it wildly around?

Because I do not believe that is something Trump, a man who got deferred several times on the grounds of bone-spurs would be a person that would run into the path of a AR-15 wielding mad man. How about you?

President Trump was born in 1946. This is when men were men, and not feminized like they are today. Today men are not men, but more like women.

Would you say that a man would be more likely to take five deferments for "bone spurs" or a woman?

Would you say that a conservative male would be more likely to take five deferments for "bone spurs" than would a liberal woman?

Would you say that sexual exploits are equivalent to the experience of a Vietnam combat veteran?

Now, would you like to say anything about the actual substance of the exchange, namely, the fact that it is completely unbelievable that Trump would run in unarmed as he claimed he would?

So no, you never served. But have no problem attacking others for not serving. noted.

You are a master of the irrelevant point. It's inspiring in a way.

It's not irrellevant, it's irksome to see people who were unwilling themselves to serve attack others for not serving. It's like somehow they are better for doing the same exact thing thier target did, not sign on the line.

We're talking about Trump. Not anyone else. Since past actions are the best predictors of future actions, his draft dodging is relevant to the discussion. Mr. Person's military service or lack there of is not.

Isn't there a HUGE differences between not serving (like for example Obama) and not serving due to avoidance of draft? And we are mocking some idiot who did this when an eagle was on his desk:

Or go like this:

let us be honest, that kind of a person is unlikely to storm into a building where an AR15 wielding mad man was running around.

Hey, not that I am blaming him for being worried in both situations, but this does not give off the image of a fearless man who would run into danger without caring for his own safety.

During a White House event with the nations governors, POTUS 45 said that he would have run in there without a weapon and would have confronted the shooter.

Now I do not know if he meant to imply that he would do that in this day and age or when he was "younger" but it is a bold statement to say the least from a man who once said:

Or who said about an event at Mar-a-lago when some person fell of the stage, where he looked away from the man when he started bleeding, saying:

I would probably not, but really I have no idea and cannot know until I am faced with that type of decision. I do not believe Trump would, no way in hell, but who knows... maybe he'd shock everybody by doing something actually selfless.

Oh for FFS do we really need another thread about trump?? God I’m sick of hairpiece. Is it the mission of Democrats to cry so much about him that people just elect someone else so we don’t have to hear about him anymore? God. I didn’t even vote for him lol.

Anyway. No. Trump would go in.

I would hope I would. I carry concealed. But I don’t know. I’m not going to say I would and then god forbid I have the chance to do something and do nothing because I froze. I’ve never been in that situation. I would say that I’m likely to shoot back. Fight back. I believe in it. I take my martial arts seriously. But I can’t say it because I haven’t been there.

They're popular. If you don't like them you can show your disapproval by not entering.

Your making a big deal about him and what he said. Haven't you ever said anything stupid? If so, does that mean that you are stupid? NO. It doesn't mean a thing. I want to see the next dum-dum DEM president say something stupid, just to see how you react when it's someone on your side.

Besides, I am also old and don't move fast either. Yet it is entirely possible that I can do it, and come out of it still in one piece. It could happen you know.

Well............

Yep, everyone at one time or another has said something stupid.

With Trump though it is the norm, not the exception.

Secondly the man is a coward. Only a coward would make an idle boast like this and we have seen enough of Trump he is all mouth, no substance. He's a pampered bully born with a silver spoon in his mouth and hasn't worked a day in his life.

This guy wouldn't make it through boot camp.....in the boy scouts

Re the bold. That says all that needs be said. Americans have no idea about governance, they only want to get even with the enemy.

That would make an awesome reality show. I'd pay to get satellite again just for that.

Meaning I suppose that I am a coward (well acquainted with the absences) just like Trump might be. But what I am saying (and here again, I think the surprising replys might come forth more here than any other place) you may be surprised by acts of heroism from anybody. I am sure that such events have been quite abundant here as opposed to not with the POTUS.

And according to sources, that is the only source for this story, all the stories about this come from one article. Snopes found two eyewitnesses to this and one said the man had done a runner before Trump even came out of the car and one said Trump did do what the story claims.

A 1991 article reported that Trump stopped an assault in New York City shortly after his own mother had been mugged, but corroborating details are murky.

The story says:

Kathleen Romeo, a 16-year-old student at St. Michael’s Academy in Manhattan, said cries of “There’s Trump!” went through the crowd of onlookers when the erstwhile deal maker emerged from his limousine in front of a Smiler’s deli.

“A lot of people were surprised that he got out to see what was happening,” Romeo said, adding that the bat-wielder ran off just before Trump actually appeared, and that Trump, “just looked around and went back into his limo.”

But another witness, who asked not to be identified, supported Trump’s tale.

“All of a sudden, a big long limousine pulls up on an angle, and Donald Trump pops out with the blond, too,” the witness said. “There was a guy with a bat, hitting a guy over the head, and Trump yelled, ‘Put that bat down. What are you doing?’ The guy dropped the bat, came over and started talking to him.”

A Midtown North Precinct spokeswoman said the attack was not reported to police.

They rate it as "unproven" not false or true but simply unknown if it actually happened.

When one has refused the cool aid, one can see things in perspective. Tell me, have you actually ever met a man who bragged of his heroism and was NOT a coward? I suspect you would claim so, but the chances are '0" minus a factor of X/23.9787

Trump is a man of wide sweeping bull****, 90% of what he says is at least misleading to outright lies. With this as his record, the fact he has shown cowardice around women (grabbing women is the action of a coward who knows he doesn't have what it takes to win a woman like that), he has shown it by running from the truth, distracting issues, engaging in headline grabbing insults to take the attention of the growing heat around him; throughout he has blamed those around him for his failures....
He isn't about to change overnight and risk his life if he can't risk a smudge on his reputation.

These are not the things of character, but the actions of a spoiled brat.
So the answer to your question is YES, I do. The news I get isn't colored with the American agenda either side of the same coin that is the "two party system" in America. ****, even that is a lie

when I was a boy, I met a lot of kids that threatened me and I ran away...some times. At other times I stood my ground and came out ahead. I am not here to defend Trump. I am saying that he could come out ahead if he stood his ground, or he could come out the loser.

You claim he is a coward and I am telling you that maybe he is, and maybe he is not. He doesn't need, or deserve your input of your pretending to know his inner self. No one knows what someone will do at a critical moment. Until you see the man in action you should keep opinions to yourself. Unless, of course, you truly do know the inner trump.

Really?

You have that kind of time to spend on exchanging opinions on Trump's character?

I don't. It has been clearly determined he is a waste of skin who would sell out his best friend, just like the prick sold out America's best friend this afternoon by announcing a 25% tariff on steel....without prior notice.

That's being a huge prick. It's one thing to hit a trading partner, but to deal in secret as he has done shows EXACTLY what character he has. Should your air space ever get shut down again as they were in 2011, don't expect Canada to take in your stranded travelers.

Good bye

Can he even run? Trot? Jog? Fast walk?

Unarmed? Sorry, I'm not suicidal. Nor stupid. And I doubt very seriously that Trump would also.

Trump may not be suicidal but stupid, well, he has some level of stupidity in him.
