The reason this has entered the news is that measles was basically eradicated in the US at the beginning of the millenium but recently it has returned as vaccination rates have declined because of people like you. Same goes for together developed countries, a huge increase in measles classes has occured as vaccination has dropped.

You support the spread of a dangerous disease that is easily preventable. You should have the degree stripped from you, it like someone holding a degree in math debating that Pythagorean theorem is wrong.

Excuse me, but who do you think you are? I never said don't vaccinate. I said, and continue to assert, that we should have medical freedom. The ADR risk alone means we should have the choice.

I don't agree with the government forcing people to do things against their will like this. They don't deserve that kind of power. Don't you see what's happening here? This is a power grab, plain and simple. Vaccines are the trojan horse. You're buying right into it because you're too busy going after your political enemies to think clearly.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist. Open your damn eyes. It's divide and conquer, as usual.

You are peddling conspiracies, you are a conspiracy theorist by definition. You claim that governments have some ulterior motive to vacconate that is not public health. That is a conspiracy theory. Your parental rights do not override the interests of public health, your decision to vaccinate or not does not only affect you and your kids.

Why stop at measles, maybe we should bring back the spread of polio, whooping cough, and other vaccine preventable diseases while we are at it considering your logic.

It killed a couple million people every year before we developed the vaccine. How many vaccine-preventable illnesses you want to put above it?

How is it a conspiracy to say that the government is overriding medical freedom? That is factually what they are doing.

Wrong. The medical freedom of the individual is weighed with the medical freedom of the public. The public has a right to not be infected by the individual.

People get sick all the time. It is not just measles. People die from the flu as well. Can we hold people going to work/school/or in public with the cold and spread it to other people as well?

Your rights end where my begin. You don't have a right to my body in order to stay safe, sorry.

Our system is based on INDIVIDUAL freedoms. There is no such thing as group/public freedom.

Taking away my right to choose over a public policy is the very definition of overriding medical freedom. If I don't get to choose what goes in my body, then that's patently loss of freedom.

If you're so scared, then YOU get the vaccines. Then you'll be "protected".

These people also want everyone to get flu shots. Again, someone in this thread said it isn't a big deal people having microchips implanted in their hands as well.... scary

I don't know about microchips, but I don't trust what's happening. It's already illegal to sue pharmaceutical companies over vaccine injury. We learned that in the 90's. Then they made the vaccine courts, that to date have paid out billions of dollars in TAX PAYER MONEY. But no, vaccines are "safe", and we all must have them.

Japan banned the MMR in the 90's because it was causing brain damage to children, the same brain damage that in the U.S. they say is "quack science".

If people want to drink the vaccine koolaid then they can go get 20+ shots. It's no sweat off my back. If they're so foolproof then they'll be protected and I won't infect them with my anti-vaxxer ways, lol :roll:

Do you know that people who get the measles vaccine shed the live virus for up to 30 days? It's why they aren't allowed in cancer wards or around immune compromised people.

Vaccinated individuals can spread the virus. They can and do. 5% of people vaccinated don't gain immunity. If we could vaccinate every human in America, there would still be 30 million unprotected people walking around, possibly more.

Do some damn research. The ignorance in this thread is appalling.

I don't trust the government or large corporations. Just last week they did a report and found several brands of bottled water containing arsenic at concerning levels.

People in the government have had real extensive talks about putting certain drugs in our tap water. They cannot be trusted.

As long as the government is 100% in bed with corporations who can't be sued, they are not forcing me to do anything. I will resist violently if necessary. I have met too many parents over the years whose children had vaccine injury. My son had permanent damage from vaccination. It's not happening. Over my dead body.
