Ruger, just paid in blood for this.

The movie showed a dumbass trying to indulge in Rambo fantasies....and then showed what happens when you pull that ****.

But, since it’s a movie and not trying to depress the audience, it swung into fairy tale land.

It was Crime and Punishment. The fall of the self imagined ubermench. The realization that there are no ubermench and every man is a servant of his conscience.

The events of the film make a sequel unnecessary. There's a kid, a girl and the leader left alive. In order to be a good leader, and spurred by the sparing of his life, he can only change course. He cannot continue on the same course. That's impossible. He owes it to his remaining two and the sparing of his life to find another way forward.

I think this is just speculative but we have gone astray on this thread

Fact of the matter is that all the fantasizing about fighting the government is pathetic, and would end with you lot getting your asses kicked.

I think those kids would do ok against the gun banning army :lamo

It's a story of beautiful failure. It's what we all imagine we'd do against impossible odds and in defense of our nation.

In the end, the protagonist is only different from Raskolnikov in motive.

Lol yeah, watching a bunch of would-be rambos get their families killed and then get blown away for no actual gain is rather amusing.

I don’t think they were really trying to be that deep....

I sort of figured those who feel like you were rooting for the Russians in that movie. Probably for the Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood and the Martians in Independence Day as well

Modelling a story after a classic is not rocket science. In the end there is only regret.

Your opinion and two cents will get you....nothing, actually.

Independence Day is a totally different theme, but hey, grasp at those straws :lamo

I suspect those who hate freedom always side with the oppressors. But what do you think of Renae's choice for an EDC pistol?

“Hate freedom”

Don’t particularly have a strong opinion, if Renae likes it and doesn’t leave it lying around for a little kid to shoot themself then it’s none of my business what else is done with it.

It's sitting by my desk right now, next to my .38, the Shotty is in the closet. Not much good locked away.

By blood I mean I've never shot a smaller pistol, and I promptly managed to lose a portion of my left thumb nail to the slide.... SIGH. Otherwise, very nice little pistol, easy to hold, shoot (watch yo thumb) and it's accurate. Signing up for CHL next month with my wife.

Good choice, especially for purse and under clothing carry, but then again I am a Big Ruger fan. Used to have an LCP but my niece loved it, so it is hers now. I would also suggest a LC9, just slightly larger but is a 9mm and with the finger extention fits the hand better.

What did you think your gun was designed for?

A construction project of some sort?

Guns make civilized life possible. When you walk to your next art show and don't have to worry about running into a government death squad, thank the 2nd Amendment.

This is the 9mm version :)

Is math a problem for you?. there were several kids. One of the two girls was never shown as dying. WE don't know what happened to the two brothers-one probably died but his brother survived. Plus several of the others. The Russians and Cubans-well I recount at least 100 getting whacked.

Erica and Danny made it across the lines to Free America.

Turns out the LC9 and EC9 are basically the same gun with one, maybe two, small differences. I’m going to go with the Security 9 compact as it will take 10 round and 15 round magazines which will also fit the PC carbine, which is also on my list. (My Current Rutgers are the 10/22 takedown and the GP100)

I sure hope you don't have any firearms. You sir have a very dangerous mindset that I would not want around me or mine.

Still no answer to my question.

It is kind of wild to deny that guns are not designed for the purpose of slaughter. I guess that is why not one poster has been able to support their claim that what I say is not true.

Butcher knives are designed for the purpose of slaughter. You want to outlaw those, too?

Ruger makes some of the best revolvers you will find, but I wouldn't recommend their semi automatics.
