Ruger, just paid in blood for this.

I just mentioned it, thought it was interesting for a conservative knowing that most don't like same-sex marriage. Did you see me follow up to her response?
And I've known of liberals that strongly believe in gun rights.
Im technically a Republican but there are some liberal causes I believe very strongly in, although eradication of gun rights is not one of them.
That's the problem with political labels, they state that this is exactly how you feel about this, this is exactly how you feel about that, ect. which is all too often wrong.

Well police officers prefer Sigs or Glocks, I've never heard of police officers carrying Ruger semi automatics.

That likely has more to do with what is issued to them and that they open carry. You have yet to produce any evidence of problems with Ruger semi-auto pistols other than "what you heard".

Well I do own a Ruger semi auto, I haven't used it all that much but I can tell you its a bit hard to control.

I'm not saying that Ruger makes high end semi-auto guns, just that they are not defective or a bad option among guns in their price range. Most small (pocket?) concealed carry guns are hard to control compared to heavier, larger framed guns with longer barrels of the same caliber. All sorts of features, especially the trigger, make one gun easier/harder to control than another.

I’ve got a Sig that I ready like however I’ve never shot a Glock that felt right in my hand. My buddy who’s a LEO carries a Glock and isn’t a fan either, he’s a S&W fan. The reason their department uses Glock is because the company offered them a deal making them the cheapest firearm to issue.

Not in the slightest. Made me smile.

I'm not Lesbian, but I'm also MTF Transgender. And fairly right on 90-95% of most issues. I need to buy a maga hat one day wear it out, with my purple hair while kissing my wife, cause some heads to explode. Massive troll :P

I carried a s@w as a cop. I thought it was a piece of junk. Sig is the best but most expensive. I have a glock 19 that fits my hand well

That would great.

Pretty clear image of what happens when you try and mix it up with people who actually know what they are doing.

Hate to burst your bubble.
It would be expected of the left to throw up their hands for "better treatment" even do a little snitching.

I am laughing at the fact that you think that movie was supportive of your obvious desires to ban American citizens from owning firearms. Or pretending that the people in the movie should be compared to some group you seem to lionize. Let's get back to the fact you don't like Renae being able to own a handgun
That's about it. It would put Renae on equal footing or more than equal and some people can't handle that.

By blood I mean I've never shot a smaller pistol, and I promptly managed to lose a portion of my left thumb nail to the slide.... SIGH. Otherwise, very nice little pistol, easy to hold, shoot (watch yo thumb) and it's accurate. Signing up for CHL next month with my wife.

Oh I've done much the same thing with an ordinary 9mm, clipped a thumbnail, barked a thumb knuckle, etc.
In fact, the very last time I went to the local shooting range in Dallas before we moved, I barked my thumb pretty good and I remember cursing about it when packing up the house for our move.

Gotta watch that kick!
PS: Sorry, but I will never understand "pretty colors" on a gun.

They didnt' have any black ones at that time so... wth, why not?

The movie showed a dumbass trying to indulge in Rambo fantasies....and then showed what happens when you pull that ****.

But, since it’s a movie and not trying to depress the audience, it swung into fairy tale land.

Fact of the matter is that all the fantasizing about fighting the government is pathetic, and would end with you lot getting your asses kicked.
If you do indeed live in Chicago as your info suggests than your pretty used to it. Emboldening mine.

Trump is very supportive of trans people.....Especially when he is kicking them out of the military

Still no answer to my question.

It is kind of wild to deny that guns are not designed for the purpose of slaughter. I guess that is why not one poster has been able to support their claim that what I say is not true.
The only posters that will support such a claim are wildly anti gun. Since you claim that is their only function.

The fact that you actually think that’s an argument—-or even a valid point—-is rather amusing.

As opposed to the right, who got dozens of hostages shot for no actual military gain?

You know that's just a movie, right?

Oh really? And here I thought we’d had a Third World War but nobody talked about it because getting invaded was too embarrassing

It’s a rather clear example of what happens when people with delusions of grandeur go up against people who know what they are doing. Overly dramatic slogans and fantasizing tend to run into brick walls in real life.

Gonna go shoot a cow are ya?

LOL, deplorables, you can't live with them, you can't get rid of them.

People, we have a problem!
You are a problem aren't you? But personally I'll overlook it because you add humor to a discussion. In other words you are good for a laugh.

I've heard bad stories about their semi autos. I've even heard of them blowing up in the user's hand.
The thing is everyone has a bad story about something. Like pressure canners blowing up. They are quite safe. You see aunt Beth was canning and got in a hurry and didn't let it cool down and broke the seal and boiling water shot all over so not to look stupid aunt Beth said the pressure relief failed. And an urban legend was born. A bad story was heard. Whew!

Guns are designed for all sorts of things. Slaughter not really being a proper definition.

But few of the millions upon millions of guns owned by law abiding American citizens will ever be used to kill anyone. And there are millions upon millions of Target Shooters in the USA, and the guns they buy for target shooting have nothing to do with slaughtering anything. I realize those who want to ban all guns-mainly due to a political hatred of those they perceive to be typical gun owners-have to demonize all guns to fit their hateful agenda. But when you lie as much as you do about guns, your arguments cannot be taken seriously
