Rodgers Vs Brady

No...its silly and CERTAINLY not 'true' because it is based on nothing more than your own obvious bias and conjecture. And it completely avoids the factual reality that Green Bay has been loaded with talent.

Rodgers is 0-35 when trailing by more than a point going into the 4th quarter.

Come on, man....

And Brady plays for the best team in football that won 11 games the year he was out with a bum knee.

And that year without him...how did they do in the post season?

Rodgers never played for a Hall of Fame coach or had a stable of stud receivers. Brady had Belichick his entire career, and threw to people like Welker, Moss, Gronk and Edelman his entire career. I'm not saying the Pats win 5 rings with Cutler as their QB, but Brady really has had it pretty damned good, compared to almost any other QB in the league.

Packers have surrounded better receivers around Rodgers than the Patriots have Brady. Edelman and Welker were undrafted. Gronk was a second round pick.

Packers load up on WR talent - Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, Davante Adams, Ty Montgomery, Greg Jennings, James Jones, Donald Driver, etc...

Pats have proven they can win without Brady.. Would they have 5 SB wins without Brady? NO!!! But they proved they can win 10-11 games in the regular season without him.

Without Rodgers the Pack is a 3-4 win team, tops. Their defense stinks every year, and some years Rodgers is their best running back.

IDK if Rodgers is the GOAT QB, but IMO he's damn close.

I doubt the Patriots win any SB without Brady. All 5 of the SB's victories were close games. Take out Brady, the Patriots lose to the Rams, Panthers, Eagles, Seahawks, and Falcons.

Maybe they beat the Eagles, only because they were such a dysfunctional team.

He still threw almost 50 more picks than Rodgers did before reaching 300 TD. Oops.

Like most of your posts, you wandered off into the what if's again..

I'll bet Rodgers would trade more picks for a few more Super Bowls.

You know....CHAMPIONSHIPS......where things really count.

It seems that everyone gets it but you.

Bradshaw is 4-0 in the SB, had the most rings of any QB until Montana won his last one. But, yet, few people, if any, rank him in the top 5 QB's of all time. Know what I mean?

Ironically, no one ranks Chuck Knoll up there either. It's always Belichick and Walsh. KNoll? Whodat?

Oh....I agree. The Steelers were a awesome team.

What separates Brady is the fact that he's done it for 16 years. First SB in 2001 Last SB 2017

He certainly is a winner. That really showed in his last SB. You could see his attitude hold that team together, even though it was shaping out to be a blowout. He was like, "28-3? We got this, guys."

Starr won five NFL titles (three before the Super Bowl era) and still has the highest playoff winning percentage of all time. I'm an admirer of Unitas as well.

I loved Bart Starr; and he had a better team around him; I see Unitas as the Genesis of today's QBs ;;

We also have to credit Brady for his iron man type work ethic that has allowed him to have a long career.

Most regular season wins by a starting QB.
Most postseason wins by a starting QB.
Most overall wins by a starting QB.

He only missed pt on year in 2008 where he tore his acl and mcl.

Other than that.... iron man.

I was reading one poster in the NFL forum section that said Joe Flacco was past his prime. The guy is 32-years old! Tells you how timeless Brady is.

Quick release, pocket passer. Brady's style is what keeps him upright.

Rodgers does that roll out thing. And, as we saw today, it can be a risky way to play in the NFL.

Rodgers vs. Brady is a good question, but I don't understand the misguided focus on wins and SB rings.

Y'all do realize there are 10 other players on the field who also have a say on whether or not the offense does well enough to win, right? Not to mention the other 11 players on the other side of the ball.

Granted, the QB has more impact on the team's ability to win than any other single position.

But seriously...W/L record and number of SB rings is a combination of being a "good" QB on a "good" team. It says that QB was able to rise up under pressure and deliver a strong performance when it mattered most. It says nothing, however, about how "great" the QB is, much less Greatest of All Time.

Aaron Rodgers' TD/INT ratio is very impressive, and says a lot more to me about his greatness than the number of wins or rings.

Tom Brady's work ethic, leadership, and inhumanely-consistent surgical precision is very impressive, and says a lot more to me about his greatness than the number of wins or rings.

In the end, I'm not sure which QB is better. I'm just sure that the number of wins and rings is a silly measuring stick to use.

What separates Brady from Rodgers and the rest is his desire to win.

Brady was a sixth-round draft pick, Rodgers was a first-round draft pick. Rodgers was coddled, given the keys after Favre left and took an already good Packers offense to the playoffs.

Brady was given the keys during chaotic times and led a group that consisted of Troy Brown, David Patten, Jermaine Wiggins, Deion Branch into a vaunted offense.

He is the GOAT.

9-1 vs 25-9.

Talk about a small sample size. Brady actually started his playoff career 10-0, better than Starr's record.

Yes, and we're all perfect when we're born. Big deal.

.900 vs .740 -- case closed

Brady is the GOAT*.

Brady is the GOAT*.

Brady has been an underdog all his life. Persecution is no stranger to the Brady Family either. Brady's great uncle was the first POW in WW2 captured by the Nazis. He had another great uncle that was a newspaper reporter that was shot to death on the job.

Again, Roger Goodell doesn't have the moral authority to stand next to Tom Brady.

Brady has a farmer's work mentality. In his youth, he would go to his grandpa's farm in Minnesota and work. His success in the NFL has nothing to do with luck. He simply outworks his opponents.
