Report: Rosenstein Discussed Wearing A Wire In Meetings With Trump

Oh just stop with your high horse bull****.
Everyone knows there were and are some nasty players in the FBI (some already fired and awaiting charges) and DOJ who did some nasty **** and are trying to keep it quiet by hiding behind national security.

Hiding the expense of a $70K conference table shows that the reasons for secrecy are not all national security.
Other reasons could be job security and prosecution avoidance.

Woodworking sources and methods are not national security issues and disclosing who made the table wouldn't chill woodworkers ... except any afraid of price gouging charges.

But nastier than Trump? I sincerely doubt it.

Facts are, it looks like the people who know Trump the best, are the people who trust him the least and felt they needed to record conversations with him. People such as Cohen and Amerosa, and likely others as well.

Yeah, Trump is definitely nastier than those FBI agents you mention above. The tapes have proven he, and some of those close associated with him, lie to the American people, so I can't blame Rosenstein if he did want to wear a wire. We won't go into Trump's other nasty disgusting behavior here, we all know what it is.

Facts are ... because of what they did they're out of a job and Trump still has his.
Let me ask you something ... from what we know so far, is there more evidence that:
a) some in FBI hierarchy worked to keep Trump from getting elected and have since worked to damage his Presidency?
or
b) Trump colluded/conspired with Russia to steal his election?

That is an unfair question. Since the House Intel Committee "investigation" was a complete sham, the only real investigation underway is the Mueller Probe. He is a prosecutor. We will not see what he has until he is done. Your basically making a meaningless argument and certainly asking a dubious question within that context.

The later in the game Mueller goes stringing Trump along on this whole Interview thing and not even making an effort to interview Don Jr or Roger Stone the more apparent it becomes who the targets are in this investigation and who is likely to move from subject to target. Truly the only things we can make judgements on from the Mueller probe at this stage of events are the things he does not do.

What does that have to do with Trump being nastier than the FBI agents? Trump bragged about being a perverted Peeping Tom at his beauty pageants, and numerous women state that he did this with girls as young as 15. In Canada that would make him a pedophile, although laws must be different in the USA.

I'm not privy to the information Mueller has amassed, so I can't say. If you have access to that information, please post it.

That was my take as well. Unless bubba has access to Mueller's investigation, in which case he should post all the information so I can make an informed statement.

Comment made when the Obama Swamp was preparing to launch the Mueller Witch Hunt, with as yet ZERO produced evidence of Russian collusion in the 2016 election, by the President or his campaign/administration.

Now , the unelected bureaucrats there (including McCabe and Lisa Page) are playing it off as a "sarcastic remark", purportedly over the COMEY FIRING, which HE, HIMSELF ALSO RECOMMENDED.

Regardless...this CORRUPT, DUPLICITOUS A-HOLE should resign , immediately.

Report: Rosenstein Discussed Wearing A Wire In Meetings With Trump

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein discussed wearing a wire to record President Donald Trump and volunteered to recruit cabinet officials to potentially remove the Republican from office, according to a bombshell report from The New York Times.

Rosenstein made the remarks in meetings with Department of Justice and FBI officials shortly after the May 9, 2017 firing of James Comey as FBI director, The Times reported Friday. Rosenstein took part in Comey’s ouster, writing a letter recommending that he be fired because of his handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

These guys need to be removed from office. Any Libertarian minded person (left, right or middle politically) should be disgusted with what has happened to our agencies (DOJ, FBI, CIA, etc.)

Mueller is not a prosecutor.

Mueller is not a prosecutor.

Mueller is the Special Counsel and his efforts are prosecutorial, ultimately resulting is indictments and prosecutions and a final report to his boss.

Are you all better now? Are your delicate sensitivities salved?

I said from what we know now.

Not really. You misunderstand Mueller's role as Special Counsel. It's not prosecutorial. It's to oversee an investigation.

That opinion would be meaningless as I only have information on one of the two things you want me compare. You are essentially asking me to compare a cat to what's inside a black box, and tell you which will eat the most food.

No I'm not.
You read the news in print and on-line?
You never commented on the Russian Probe?
You must've had some basis of knowledge in order to comment ... or maybe you didn't.
That'd be an unfortunate admission on your part.

Oh just stop with your high horse bull****.
That's what Republicans do isn't it, stop ethical discussions/shaming because they hate how it makes them feel.
Don't hold Trump accountable no matter how deplorable he is, that's their mode of operation, we all know it.

Everyone knows there were and are some nasty players in the FBI
None evidenced. Resignations and firings due to scandal, are nothing new in politics. Republicans control House, Senate, and presidency, and this is the **** they spend their energy on...attacking the United States DOJ because they are investigating a foreign adversaries meddling in our election and possible ties to the Trump campaign.
Traitorous fools.

How do you know what kind of table senior FBI uses in conference tables? How big, was it digital, and how long is it intended to last?

You blabber about a ****ing CONFERENCE TABLE, to excuse the political attacking of the DOJ to obstruct? That's ****ing hilarious.

The FISA application, records of Ohr's interviews, communications from Comey, McCabe, etc...these have nothing to do with any ongoing investigations except for the Congressional oversight committee investigation and they are the ones asking for the stuff to be released to the public.Sorry, but there's no ethics considerations that apply...though, after they are release, I expect there to be a LOT of ethics consideration and criminal considerations directed toward those corrupt Obama administration pukes.

They have no reason to release it publicly, they have access to it themselves. If there was unethical stuff the IG would have hammered them. If there were criminal issues, the IG would have referred it criminally.

Neither happened because this is a political **** show, courtesy of the worst stewards of House power in modern history.

Well sure, I can make an opinion based on "facts" I pull out of my buttocks, or some equally reputable site such as the Daily Caller, it's actually pretty common around here. But I try really hard not to do that myself.

So, I do not know what information Mueller has, and until I do know it is impossible for me to give an informed opinion. I hope that makes sense to you.

There's more of that bizarre thought process ... resignations and firings have no significance.
You're quite the character, you are.

How about you keep your buttocks and whatever you might pull from there a secret.
Anyone can wonder about such personal habits if they choose.

I asked for an opinion.
That would be what the phrase "from what we know" suggests.
By you avoiding the question I already know not to expect an informed opinion.

You never stated an opinion on the Mueller probe or all the FBI dismissals, retirements, and legal problems?
Hard to believe given all your posts in only a month.
Been focusing on the climate change threads, have ya?
