The reason Reagan won was because he was able to attract a wide range of people, Santorum can't.

As a card carrying leftist and progressive and Democrat, I rejoice that Santorum is ahead of Romney. It is wonderful and joyous news.

Now if Santorum can only win both Arizona and Michigan on Tuesday I will be very very happy. And as a Michigan voter, I will do my part to help. My first choice was Sister Sarah but Santorum is a good second choice.

Goldwater did not win anything. Santorum just might.........Hell I even voted for Johnson in 1964, biggest mistake I ever made. Did you know that Clinton is the only 2 term democrat president since Truman?

Santorum is good at charging up the really passionate conservatives... who are a small minority in America. Winning primaries by proving you're the most extreme candidate makes it pretty hard to then appeal to the middle, who are the biggest voting bloc. Please nominate Santorum.

Small sample size, and irrelevant to modern voting trends.
 
I don't need some random poll to tell me any thing, I just use common sense. The things Santorum has stood for in the last few weeks puts him off to nearly 90% of women and young people. This guy will bite the dust very soon and old Romney will be back where he was.

Actually there are more Conservatives in this country then Liberals. The people who will make the difference are the Independents.........

Yeah, maybe. But he does know his gay issues. You gotta give him that. If you inserted yourself into as many gay issues as he has you might learn a thing or two yourself.

Lighten up on my right wing friend. He is sorely missing the days of the comaraderie he once knew amongst a lot of good men without having any pesky women interupting them enjoying the salty scent of the ocean's air. I suppose that could be quite depressing.

Yeah and I remember how I predicted GWB would win in 2000 and 2004 and that the Republicans would take the mid terms with a sitting prez. I also remember how I predicted the Republicans would kick ass in 2010..............I think the only one I missed was Obama. not to bad...........How did you do in all those elections?????:lamo
