Well, that is unfortunate. You should move to the Midwest. You might find some people here like that, but not many. Most people here want legal immigrants that can stand on their own two feet. As long as they aren't on entitlements they are perfectly welcomed. People here are just sick of people that are able to hold down a job, but are just to lazy so they get on disability instead. It doesn't matter if they are white or not.

What about the fear of Muslim immigrants, too many coming in, and they are possible threats? I have heard people say that the Muslim faith goes against American values.

Gee, that's strange...because according to the documents released by the FBI, "welfare" had nothing to do with it - it's not even mentioned. And from the New York Times:

A former Trump superintendent named Thomas Miranda testified that multiple Trump Management employees had instructed him to attach a separate piece of paper with a big letter “C” on it — for “colored” — to any application filed by a black apartment-seeker.

The Trumps went on the offensive, filing a contempt-of-court charge against one of the prosecutors, accusing her of turning the investigation into a “Gestapo-like interrogation.” The Trumps derided the lawsuit as a pressure tactic to get them to sign a consent decree like the one agreed to by Mr. LeFrak.

The judge dismissed both the countersuit and the contempt-of-court charge. After nearly two years of legal wrangling, the Trumps gave up and signed a consent decree.

As is customary, it did not include an admission of guilt. But it did include pages of stipulations intended to ensure the desegregation of Trump properties.

A few years later, the government accused the Trumps of violating the consent decree. “We believe that an underlying pattern of discrimination continues to exist in the Trump Management organization,” a Justice Department lawyer wrote to Mr. Cohn in 1978.

Once again, the government marshaled numerous examples of blacks being denied Trump apartments. But this time, it also identified a pattern of racial steering.

While more black families were now renting in Trump-owned buildings, the government said, many had been confined to a small number of complexes. And tenants in some of these buildings had complained about the conditions, from falling plaster to rusty light fixtures to bloodstained floors.

The lawsuit was based on evidence gathered by testers for the New York City Human Rights Division, which alleged that black people who went to Trump buildings were told there were no apartments available, while white people were offered units.

Back then, Sheila Morse worked as one of those testers. When a black New Yorker was turned down for service and racial bias was suspected, Morse, who is white, would be dispatched to see if she received different treatment.

In this case, a black man in search of an apartment in Brooklyn in 1972 saw a sign on a building: "apartment for rent."

"He met with the superintendent, and the superintendent said, 'I'm very sorry, but the apartment is rented — it's gone,' " Morse says. "So the gentlemen said to him, 'Well, why is the sign out? I still see a sign that says apartment for rent.' And the superintendent said, 'Oh, I guess I forgot to take it down.' "

When Morse went to the building to ask about the same apartment, she says, "They greeted me with open arms and showed me every aspect of the apartment."

Morse says she reported her experience to the Human Rights Commission, and then returned to the apartment building. After she was offered a lease, the black man who had tried to rent the apartment entered the office with a city human rights commissioner, and the three of them confronted the building superintendent.

"He said, 'Well, I'm only doing what my boss told me to do — I am not allowed to rent to black tenants,' " Morse says.

The commissioner asked the building superintendent to take him to his boss. That turned out to be Trump Management.

If he were just concerned about welfare, there are white people on welfare too. That defense just doesn't seem to make sense

There would probably be only a small segment of Trump supporters who would be against a deal for DACA and some type of residency for the other 10 million + illegals here if that included an airtight border security policy along with stricter migration policies. We want to show compassion but it also has to be realistic and limited.

Changing the subject. That's fine. So you want to know how I feel about Muslims. I'm assuming that you are trying to figure out if I'm racist because I'm a Trump supporter. I already told you that I am not. I think we can both agree that some Muslims have been radicalized. I don't have a problem with them coming to our country like all other immigrants. But we should be careful doing so. Don't you agree. I'm not just saying that about Muslims, I'm saying that about everybody that we put through the process.

I hate to upset you, but I'm seeing a common theme with you. You have so much hatred in your heart. You don't want to believe that there are white people that aren't racist. I'm so sorry that you feel that way. We are all immigrants in this country. We have no problem with different cultures and values. That's what makes America great. I've already told you that there are good and bad people everywhere in the world. Not just the U.S.A. You should already know this. We do need to be careful how many people we let come to our country. We have to have jobs created to accommodate them. I'm not interested in talking about those things because they are past history. Heck, unless you are near my age, that rent thing happened before you were even born.
