People Keep Claiming That We On The Left Support Iranian terrorists.

I've seen the claim that we on the left support Iranian terrorists and mourn the death of their leader. Why is that? Do they have the tendency to believe in nonsense and conspiracy theories? Is it because Trump pushes that? Is it because they cannot think critically? And why do they keep hollering that because we criticize Trump for making the decision too quickly, we support Iran? And they scream TDS every single time.

Can anyone explain this phenomenon?

It's a talking point the WH quickly weaponized and the left's silence is terrible with only AOC seemingly speaking up about the right's talking point. They are even calling American congresspeople Iranian plants now...
 
Because every American should be celebrating the death of an Iranian responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans at the very least rather than whining incessantly about hypothetical "blow back" or bitching about whether it violated the War Powers Act (which no president has ever felt bound by) and most of all not claiming that President Trump is a "terrorist" given that the drone strike that killed Soleimani apparently did not kill or injure any innocent people.

Because many on the political left (but thankfully not a majority) are simply repeating the Iranian Regime's talking points word for word.

After watching four years of accelerated descent into hatred and depravity, I'm not sure I am allowed to describe what motivates the type of person who says that type of thing upstairs.

They appear to revel in mocking the concept of basic humany decency; of honor, duty, justice, fairness, and did I mention basic human decency why yes I did mention basic human decency. They'd have the ten commandments chiseled into their toilet bowls - on the inside, near the bottom - if they God was a liberal.

And this isn't going away after Trump. They've convinced themselves that they are the eternal victims of liberals, who apparently represent the hordes of Satan, and thus they believe that all this behavior of theirs is fully justified. And that's assuming they care about having a justification. Maybe they're just....

...not good people.

And because hypocrisy is a sin, I guarantee you that at least one of them will quote this post and say "see? The liberals are full of hate" while thinking "thus everything I say or do to them is justified".

Does not the gospel of Trump contain the command "accuse others of what thou hast done unto them"?





It's not all the people on the right. That is not what I am saying. But these days it seems to be a very large chunk. What's an ugly thing to say about liberals? That they love terrorists. So of course that chunk says just that.

Ultimately, they have no facts, so all they can do is make up things

Also, right wingers keep mentioning Iran and terrorism. There is no more country responsible for terrorism than the US. Constant wars, bombing, helping overthrow the government, etc etc.

Hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women and children slaughtered. Far, far more than any muslim extremist has caused

If you are willing to knowingly exaggerate and falsify claims in retaliation to killing one of this worlds largest murdering monsters right after they hit our embassy, then yes, you are supporting Iran over the US.

You don't get to stand in the middle of the road in this case while throwing rocks at Trump, Republicans, and America. This isn't a situation that requires a hell of a lot of thought. But the left acts like Trump woke up one morning and just decided to go kill an Iranian official.

No consideration of the months of attacks by Iran. NONE.
Just thread after thread of fake claims trying to justify Irans responses.
 
It's nothing for a Republican to lie. Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are the Republican leaders.

Is analagous to the phenomenon over the past few years where people actually thought Mr. Trump had conspired with Russia to fix the 2016 election.
Which is closely related to the phenomenon where people think that with Trump all roads lead to Russia.
