Omar Hates America, Says Tucker, the Professional Hater

Tucker is usually right.
In this case he's absolutely right.
He didn't say anything about Omar that wasn't correct.
That's all you should be concerned with.

Thank you for telling me what I should be concerned with which, in this case, is his claim that Omar hates America, which is not only absolutely incorrect, but stupid and heedless.

LOL

Sorry if your ability to communicate is less than people are accustomed to.

How did Carlson troll Omar?

Omar is a vile POS, but that's my opinion.

Doesn't Carlson have a right to voice his opinion as well?

Oh my, an ad hom attack...how predictable.

Carlson's opinion looks more like trolling ...imo. Is that a problem for you?

You fire the first shot, then complain when I respond in kind?

How predictable.

You're welcome to any opinion you want to share with the world.

Maybe it would be better to say that Omar hasn't said anything to indicate Tucker was wrong. There. That's inarguable.

Except I didn't fire any shots at you. I'm not complaining...I'm just saying.

Everything she says indicates he is wrong. She’s a true patriot in contrast to the intolerance and jingoism that inflates Tucker and most of the rest of Fox.

Other than the fact that you don't like Carlson, what did he say that you thought was a misrepresentation of who Omar is. Actually, I thought he was exactly right about her. She is openly hostile and prejudiced against Jews, she spoke dismissively about 911 claiming some people did something, wasn't it her that said, I think all white men should be put in chains as slaves because they will never submit to Islam.

She is anti American and anti Israel.

Tucker is a rabid moron, a trust fund with a big ****ing mouth. Omar doesn't hate the US, more trash from the garbage men. This is the same sort of rabid ****ing retardation he spewed about her being anti-semitic.

Truly pathetic the way the right wing media covers -anything- these days.

Look at right wingers, they are such scumbags, no wonder the right media covers stuff like that, their dumb viewers just eat it up

No one suggests Carlson doesn't have a "right" to voice his opinion.

And Tucker didn't really criticize Omar in that piece but used her as a defense for white nationalism. That was his entire point, what that segment did. He said Omar is bad, and she's obviously a Muslim and a woman of color, THEREFORE, we must change our immigration system to, presumably, not admit any more non-whites. There's no other reasonable interpretation of what he said.

It's not surprising coming from Carlson, but it's as overt as I've seen so far. He's proceeded from dog whistles to the bigots and racists to bull horns, openly spewing crap that will have all the legitimate white supremacists and racist dirtbags applauding, because it's the philosophy of those assholes said not only out loud but on Fox News.

Tucker Carlson knows his audience, and they will eat this up without question.

That's really what it comes down to. He's selling hate and people are buying.

Oh? What are some of Omar's USA patriotism quotes?
I know the one about some people doing something on September 11, 2001. That certainly sounded patriotic ... just not regarding our Country.
What are some others?

Omar wasn't the topic. White nationalism was the topic.

Observe.... the Leftist form of shaming.

You're goddamned right I'll shame the **** out of any right winger who spews this rabid nonsense.

Omar doesn't hate this country, questioning it isn't the same as hating it.

This is the same stupid identity politicking of the right as always; claim it's anti-semitism and we don't have to discuss it.

Well, same **** here.

Pathetic.

Shall serve? I guess that explains your actions.... Do your masters feed you as well?

There is no master here save me, mortal.

Omar wasn't the topic. White nationalism was the topic.

The only sentence in the thread opener is:

If either of them hates America, it’s Tucker.

Where did you get the idea it was about white nationalism from that one sentence?

SO back to the thread topic

Other than the fact that you don't like Carlson, what did he say that you thought was a misrepresentation of who Omar is.

If you watched Carlson's segment, then you know Omar was not the topic of it. He used her as an excuse, the face, to get out his white nationalist bull horn and argue for wholesale changes in our immigration system, presumably at a minimum to deny entry to blacks and/or Muslims given that Omar is a black Muslim and the argument Carlson made, and it was explicit, is immigration by people like Omar will ruin the country.

What I object to are the arguments of white nationalists and white supremacists, and Carlson's segment was exactly that, broadcast by Fox News.

Can you tell us how you know what this man hates or doesn't hate?

Or maybe he was just talking about Omar, so theres that.

You're trying to gaslight me here, and it won't work. That segment had little to do with Omar, and was an argument for wholesale changes to our immigration system, presumably to prohibit entry by blacks and/or Muslims, given he used a black Muslim as his poster child for what kind of changes we have to make to save the country.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this is a report by the Huffington Post and its opener is:

Fox News host Tucker Carlson ended his show on Tuesday with an attack on Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), claiming that she hates America

You have decided the report has nothing to do with Omar and it has a much deeper revelation. Ok, Believe what ever you think the report says. That is your prerogative and I haven't questioned it.

What I am confused about is why you have provided everything but the answer to the question I have posed now 3 times that you seem to dance around over and over.

What did he say that you thought was a misrepresentation of who Omar is.

I'm being as clear as I know how to be. I don't care how the reporter at HuffPo characterized the segment. I am capable of clicking on and did click on the story and watch his segment for myself, and draw my own conclusions about what his message, the point, of that segment was.

If you have watched it, and not just read that reporter's account, then you know Omar was just used as an EXAMPLE to make a broader point about immigration. I hate transcribing video, so I'll quote from the story:

Ilhan Omar is living proof that the way we practice immigration has become dangerous to this country. A system designed to strengthen America is instead undermining it. Some of the very people we try hardest to help have come to hate us passionately.”

Carlson continued his attack on Omar by saying that “no country can import large numbers of people who hate it and expect to survive” and that viewers should “be grateful” for the Minnesotan, before adding: “Annoying as she is.”

She’s a living fire alarm, a warning to the rest of us that we better change our immigration system immediately, or else,

What did he say that you thought was a misrepresentation of who Omar is.

Let me do this another way. Here's a argument:

"Tucker Carlson is a spoiled, racist, white supremacist trust fund baby. We should be glad of that because he's a living example of the worthlessness of trust fund babies, and we must change our estate and gift tax system to get rid of trust fund babies, increase the estate tax rate to 90% or more, to reduce the influence of worthless trust fund babies, born with silver spoons in their mouths, but are incompetent morons and who'd never make it on their own, OR ELSE! No country can survive when worthless trust fund babies are allowed to exert their incompetent, unearned influence! Inherited wealth is evil!"

What's my core argument? It's not really about Tucker Carlson at all but that we need to tax the crap out of wealthy families, so they can't pass that wealth down to their worthless kids, wealth that provides them influence well beyond their EARNED status.

You sure spend an awful lot of time and effort just to not answer a pretty simple question. So I guess you are going to leave it up to me to answer.

There was nothing in Tucker Carlson's monologue that misrepresented Omar at all. You have been dodging that question because you know what he said was true and that she is obviously an anti semite or you would have come to her defense way before now.
