Omar Hates America, Says Tucker, the Professional Hater

No, it isn’t true. I’m not at all impressed by Omar or her performance in office, but truth still matters to some of us.

I don't care what he said about Omar, at all. That wasn't his argument, the point of his segment.

There are at least a dozen threads about her views. This one is about Tucker Carlson's argument in defense of white nationalism. If you don't want to discuss the actual argument he made in his segment, that's fine. It's like arguing over the views of a Klukker, IMO, but I was just pointing out that his views are about like those of your average Klukker, and Carlson has a Fox News platform to spew them. Not much else to say about that asshole IMO.

I did some research as to why Tucker would have concerns:

It would seem that her negative outlook towards Jews somewhat aligns with skinhead Nazis - they don't like Jews either. I've always wondered where this common Jew-hatred comes from. On the one hand, you've got this Somali black woman following Arab tradition by being Muslim and wearing the proper head covering to please Allah. On the other you have white, Christian Nazi Aryan people with a common scapegoat - the Jew. It boggles the mind.

Nah, I don't think so. Nothing in Carlsons monologue or this thread said anything about white nationalism. You alone made that assumption and brought it to the table all by yourself. I simply asked you to provide anything he said in his monologue that was untrue or inaccurate. You didn't want to answer that question because he didn't make any false claims.

You preferred to just assume his meaning so you could push your (I Hate Tucker) response.

And Tucker didn't really criticize Omar in that piece but used her as a defense for white nationalism. That was his entire point, what that segment did. He said Omar is bad, and she's obviously a Muslim and a woman of color, THEREFORE, we must change our immigration system to, presumably, not admit any more non-whites. There's no other reasonable interpretation of what he said.

It's not surprising coming from Carlson, but it's as overt as I've seen so far. He's proceeded from dog whistles to the bigots and racists to bull horns, openly spewing crap that will have all the legitimate white supremacists and racist dirtbags applauding, because it's the philosophy of those assholes said not only out loud but on Fox News.

On July 1, at the same time Tucker was airing, 5.66 million people watched The Bachelorette. So a stupid dating show is more cerebral than Tucker.
