Nfl 2019

I never really saw Jim Brown. Sayers was the best I ever saw.

I never saw Brown either.. But he was a different type of runner.. IIRC Brown was bigger and heavier then most, if not on some Sunday's ALL of the opposing defensive players on the field. He weighed what? 220-230... Hell back then there were DE's that didn't weigh 200.

He was fast, but he was mostly the 1st BIG strong RB, and he just ran over defensive players of that time.

JB was also extremely fast.

Because Sayers had such a short career I don't think I'd put him in my top 5 greatest of all-time. Longevity has to be a big consideration when talking about GOAT's... BUT watching him run, in that short amount of time, IMO he was the greatest.

I was referring to exciting. Bo was clearly the most incredible, IMO. Barry would have to be next. Gayle played against much slower defenders, but yeah. He was incredible as well.

Nov 16, 2009 - On this day in 1965, the rookie running back Gale Sayers of the Chicago Bears scores six touchdowns during a single game against the San Francisco 49ers at Chicago’s Wrigley Field, tying the National Football League (NFL) record for most touchdowns in a single game.

That is just insane.

And I wondered why we never hear of him today as he is still alive. Then I looked him up to find out he has had dementia since 2013. That is a sad ending chapter for one of the great players of our times.

[h=1]QB Smith: Big step will be learning to run again[/h]In his first public comments since suffering a devastating leg injury in November, Redskins quarterback Alex Smith says he hasn't abandoned hope of playing football again but knows there are a number of steps to get there.

During a recent interview, Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen told Adam Schein of Mad Dog Sports Radio that head coach Matt Nagy frequently reminds the team of the way last season ended. Nagy apparently shows video of the Cody Parkey miss and the faces of the fans and sidelines reacting to the heartbreaking double-doink.

This news prompted at least one media outlet to ponder whether Nagy is too obsessed with the missed kick and is letting it consume him to the detriment of the team. So it made us ask ourselves the question, ‘does Matt Nagy need to get over the double-doink?’

Chicago Bears: Is Matt Nagy too consumed with the "double-doink?"

The Bears head coach is mad. His obsession will doom the Bears this season. Book it.

Anyone else ready for Fantasy Football? The Seattle Reign needs to redeem itself!!

Antonio Brown is missing from the Raiders camp.. I'm shocked.. I tell you SHOCKED!

Supposesly the Raiders don't even know where he is... Lol

Baker Mayfield gets the fans going at an Indians game.

This guy is a riot.

I got my wish: the Raiders will be featured on HBO Hard Knocks! I hope they mention Kahlil Mack at some point.

I see the handshake agreement, unwritten payroll manipulation, between Robert Kraft and Tom Brady has finally come to fruition. Years of Brady taking less than competitive salary so that the Cheatriots could sign other players has now come to an end as the Cheatriots now overpay in Brady's failing years - $8 million top up in salary this year and then $30 mil and $32 mil in the remaining two years. I wouldn't pay Brady half of that to play at 44 and no other team in the league would. Brady didn't help win the Super Bowl last year - the Rams offense gifted the game to the Cheatriots by playing their worst game of the year. But hey, more power to him - good deal if you can get it.

LOL!

Russell Wilson $35 million
Fat Ben $34 million
Aaron Rodgers $33.5 million
Matt Ryan $30 million
Kirk Cousins $28 million

Brady is being slightly below market rate. He posted MONSTER numbers for 2019 with a limited supporting cast - Julian Edelman, Gronk hurt, Josh Gordon drug problem

And btw Tom Brady was better than Big Ben last year and he's 4 years older than him.

Ya, wishing for the Bears to win an SB would even be too much to ask from God.

There's no need to wish for that to happen because they have a better chance than ever.

On the other hand, I do wish for the Pats to never make it into the playoffs for the next 50 years.

They have a football god in Tom Brady that is also a world-class beer chugger. Did you see the pathetic attempt by Aaron Rodgers, Baker Mayfield, and Mitchell Trubisky chugging beer?

Knowing Brady he probably cheated in that too.

With the exception of Kirk Cousins, I'd take any of those other QBs over Brady at this point in time and there isn't one of those other teams that would trade their QB straight up for Brady at this point in time.

Anyone playing "Pick Em" this year?
