Nfl 2019

That tape was damning.. Him threatening a women he already abused.. Makes it sound like he hasn't learned a damn thing.. And I'll bet the local authorities will soon be re-opening the child abuse case. Probably against both him and his girl friend.

that tape was so 'damning' that law enforcement is unable to use it to levy charges against him

This tape just came out a day or so ago. Supposedly the GF recorded it but never released it. If I understand this correctly she recently sent it to a friend, who then gave it to a CBS affiliate in KC..

So if true law enforcement just found out about the tape.

The tape is damning for both of them. As I said before I wouldn't be surprised if now the case is reopened.

He flat out said on the tape she should feel threatened by him!! This is the woman he plead guilty to hitting and choking 3 years ago.. Sounds pretty incriminating to me.

As for why no child abuse charges were filed it is my understanding because she backed Hill and lied for him the DA didn't have enough evidence to how, or who broke the child's arm.

We shall see.

Looks like Rosen may be on his way to Miami...and the Broncos have their pick for a QB of the future. Hopefully he carries a clipboard for 2 years and learns the pro game while he develops.

I think if they were going OL the Broncos should have signed Jenkins over Risner. But not a bad pick.

Rosen to the Fins for a 2nd this year and a 5th next year.

LOL at the Cards. They wasted a draft pick on Rosen.

What is going on here???

Ole Miss wide receiver D.K. Metcalf certainly made an impression on Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll during his interview at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Metcalf's physique helped make him an internet sensation. Carroll got to see that physique in person when the former Rebels star arrived shirtless for his interview with Seattle.

"Kind of pissed me off, so I took my shirt off too," Carroll said Friday,

The team shared a video from the surreal scene:

The Seahawks are a very weird team.

I was wondering about that too. What did they see in Josh that told them, “this guy sucks!”?

IMHO the Carolina Panthers made the steal of the draft getting QB Will Grier in the third round.

Maybe Eli isn't going to be a good 'mentor' after all. He had this show during the football season for at least a decade, maybe more. Kind of weird he pulled the plug on it the day after the draft, and not waiting a month, or 2.. Or a few weeks before the season starts. At least until the draft dust settled a bit.. Tells me Eli is kind of PO'ed..

Eli Manning makes room for Daniel Jones, cancels spot with NYC radio host Mike Francesa

Not 24 hours have passed since the New York Giants stunned the NFL by choosing Duke quarterback Daniel Jones with the No. 6 pick in the first round.

The wheels are already in motion for his anointment as Eli Manning’s replacement.

Manning said prior to the draft that he anticipated the Giants drafting his successor. But he also sounded optimistic that he would continue to play this season when talking with reporters on April 14.

“I figure the Giants are going to get a young quarterback,” Manning said. “So I understand that. I still have to do my job, and I'll do my part. And my job as I see it is to go out there and play quarterback and win football games.”

Manning cancels longstanding NYC radio spot
That optimism appears to have waned since the Jones pick.

Manning has for years done a weekly in-season Monday spot on New York host Mike Francesa’s radio show on WFAN.

According to NFL Network’s Kimberly Jones, Francesa said Friday that Manning has already canceled those appearances for the approaching season in anticipation of losing his job.

I was wondering about that too. What did they see in Josh that told them, “this guy sucks!”?

Yeah, the whole Card team and coaching staff was a dysfunctional mess last year.. I don't see how they could determine who was good or bad off of last year's mess.

If you are married to someone that you like, but you find out you have a chance at your true love, you go after your true love.

Kyler Murray is a special player. He reminds me of a better overall version of Russell Wilson, more accurate. He also is a dynamic runner. His running ability is Barry Sanders-esk.

He also is a special baseball player. Kind of reminds me of a cross between Mookie Betts and Andrew McCutchen.

The Cardinals got a hell of a talent.

Remember this Kyler Murray ran Lincoln Riley's offense more efficiently than Baker Mayfield.

If his wife and children remained in Ohio while he was getting installed with the Patriots in Massachusetts, or that they did not want to leave because his children's education than it is logical that a man would feel he is giving up too much time with his loved ones if he is in Massachusetts and they are not there. That is a scenario I could understand.

It looks like our Patriots hit a home run in the draft. I am really excited!!

Round 1: N'Keal Harry -

A great football team has a foundation of solid teammates that implement a solid culture. Tom Brady is a great team leader, he is a great man, teammate, friend.

N'Keal Harry is a real salt of the earth type person. Real down to earth. Made of really good stuff like Tom Brady:

Herm Edwards, his coach during his final season with the Sun Devils, says Harry has all the components to be a successful pro.

"Is he willing to compete?" Edwards asked. "Check that box. Does he prepare himself when he is not in the building, when he's off the field? Check that box. In the community, does he have any issues in the community? Does he have any red flags of him being obviously social problems and outside the community? Has he been arrested? Check that box off, nope. There's a lot of boxes he checks off. Probably the biggest box of all that he checks off, and I've discussed it with the pro guys, is he loves to compete."

But where he's drafted doesn't matter for just his ego. It'll affect his contract. Being a first-round pick means more guaranteed money and the possibility for a fifth-year option on his rookie deal. It could also impact Harry's second contract. And that affects his ability to take care of his granny, who has been taking care of him nearly his entire life.

"My first check, that's for her. That's for her," N'Keal said. "That's my thank-you to her. So, whatever she asks for, it'll be given.

Granny's boy N'Keal Harry ready to rise at NFL combine

These are the high-character, highly competitive football players that help build a championship caliber team. Football intangibles!

N'Keal Harry reminds of Anquan Boldin. I want to see you compete on a football field. Too many nfl teams focus on 40 times, bench press, vertical... the NFL is not a body-building competition.

Round 2: Joejuan Williams -

Another great draft pick. The Patriots approach to the cornerback position can be described in one word: Diversity. They have a mix of fast cbs, physical cbs, and slot cbs....They like to use man and zone coverage to keep their opponents on their toes. They drafted a speed cb last year (Duke Dawson) and added a real physical/press CB in Williams. Don't forget about JC Jackson, he could be the next Ty Law.

Round 3 Chase Winovich -

He does consciously maintain it. Winovich is aware of his infectious personality. He promotes charity work, such as dying his hair orange to help raise money for childhood cancer research. He says he has always dreamed of being in a position to give back. He carefully curates his social media outlets and thinks thoroughly about the things he posts.

For help there, he turns to his high school sweetheart and close friend, Taylor Bonds. Bonds is a senior studying public relations at Alabama, where she was worked in the football program's recruiting group and with the athletic department's marketing team. She recently spent a Saturday evening talking Winovich out of posting a "Twitter rant" about referees after Michigan's win at Northwestern.

Winovich checks in with her regularly before he posts things on social media. She said the two of them have had lengthy conversations about cultivating his brand.

"I think he's very unique in that sense," Bonds said. "We want to treat his image like a business."

How Conor McGregor helped turn Michigan's Chase Winovich into a defensive star

Another high character, high motor, high energy guy. I love these picks. Harry is the like the beast mode of WRS. Winovich is a monster at DE.

I love the Damien Harris pick as well. IMO Rex Burkhead is not a high-quality backup, he needs to be replaced.

The Jarrett Stidham draft pick in intriguing. He needs good coaching but isn't raw. He had a lot of success in college.

If I were the Chiefs I'd trade him to the Pats- Hill is their kind of player. :2razz:

What an absolutely disgraceful comment.

The Patriots in no way have a culture of bringing in players that assault children. The Patriots have a strong team with great leaders who are great ambassadors to the NFL and Massachusetts.

You don't win 6 six super bowls with dirtbags.

I posted this before, but it needs to be said again.

I am stoked about the people they drafted and the UDFA's they signed on top of that. Three more wide receivers and a tight end.

Nope. The Patriots are survivors. I dare the DA to release the Kraft tape and violate his right to privacy. Remember Hulk Hogan? Remember when Gawker released his sex tape? That cost Gawker $31 million.

So go ahead. Kraft and his attorneys will sue you for millions.

So you admit that there is a “Kraft sex tape.”

Todd McShay had Jarrett Stidham and Ryan Finley, the QBs drafted by the Patriots & Bengals in the 4th round higher rated than Daniel Jones, the QB drafted by the Giants with the sixth overall pick.

McShay himself said performance would settle this debate. Remember Tom Brady was drafted in the 7th round.
