Nfl 2017 [W:1941,2227]

Wha... the Bears are hanging in there? No way.

Now we see why Vegas dropped from 7 to 6.5 to 6 for the ATL spread. This one's a push. Going under by 8 points, something we'll a lot from Bear games ...

Terrible replay call with Washington ...

In Cinci, Dalton pitches a 4-pick shutout in reverse. Meanwhile, in MoTown, Stafford throws 4 TD and is minutes away from bringing home a solid win against AZ.

Palmer gets the hat trick and a pick 6. Lol

A lot of college plays in that game. I have no idea why we were running the ball with 7-8 guys in the box. Hopefully this was just Sark being cautious game 1. Julio was in single man coverage and we weren't throwing him the ball. Disrespectful. A win's a win, though. The offense better shine next week.

Go Ravens! Great start to the season with a road win against a division opponent!

Sure. A win is a win. Atl probably played conservatively, figuring the Bears posed no real offensive threat. So, why risk throwing picks or getting Ryan hurt?

Because we have the weapons to end that game in the third quarter, and our receivers were wide open down the middle all game. We won, but we shouldn't have needed the defense to stand up in the last two minutes.

HOU will come out pumped due to Harvey; just as NO did after Katrina. HOU is a far superior team to JAX ...

I'm not one to say I told you so but there was too much volatility IMO to bet on the hou/Jax game

Go Hawks!

Well, didn't quite work out as hoped but at least Pete Carroll knows what areas to work on.

Number one is the protection of Wilson. Same problem last year.

Disappointing was Eddie Lacy's performance.

Impressed was running back Chris Carson.

Nirvana was seeing that Earl Thomas is back in the house and is the same old Earl Thomas.

Also they need to add to Pete Carroll's list is to pay the refs more than the opponents paid them.

Right you are; this is why I refuse to go anywhere but Nevada so I can do individual bets and get the best lines and options, not parlays; with parlays being called the 'fool's bet' by 'sharps'.

Since I'm sick of Vegas, and it will be impossible once the Raiders come to town, I'm looking at going back to Laughlin. As I already said, I'll be glad to help you with the pick 'ems. Thank you again for your time and efforts ...

14 points. One would think, instant replay could have solved that.

Some surprises today. Eagles and Lions came through with wins I didn't expect. Rams came up big, so did Panthers.

Packers and Falcons both won but didn't look too great doing it. Seahawks got robbed of some points there but the officiating was bad all around that game. Jags looked pretty good but maybe the Texans just ain't that great. Expected results from the rest of the games, but gotta mention: Dalton and the Bengals are looking pretty bad already, and so are the Jets. I know it's only week 1, but god damn.

The Jaguars had 10 sacks! Perhaps it was a fluke win but they also gave up 0 sacks against a formidable Texans defense.

Steelers, Packers, and Cowboys defense looked good.

I'll give you 7, not 14.

Eli has never been an accurate passer, but damn, he was really awful yesterday.

Steelers looked so-so.

Ravens looked damn good.

I'm glad I have Stafford on a couple of my fantasy teams.

I wonder if Cinci, Houston, Indy and AZ are really as bad as what we saw yesterday.

I suspect the Giants missed OBJ, but they may be bad either way.

Dallas, GB and Philly no surprise. They are the top teams in the NFC. Rams? Probably not.

Oakland--just win Baby!

Detroit has to string together more than a win over 40-year old Carson Palmer before I put them up there with the list of contenders. But, Stafford should be a great Fantasy League asset. His regular season numbers are usually pretty solid.

Carson Palmer is 37-years old.
