Alex Smith. You can't stop him. You can only hope to contain him.

Watching Marsh get abused.

Priceless.

Imagine the Patriot bettors that gave up 9 points. Vegas missed a lot of games this weekend IMHO, like this one, with KC at 4 to 1 odds straight up. DAL -3.5 and HOU -5 are two more clunkers. Vegas normally gets its act together by mid-October ...

Clunkers in what way?

Bwahahahahaha... Loved it

I did to but I don't want to gloat. We still have 14 games to go. I still prefer picking games against the spread---ATS.

Wouldn't mind seeing a pick 'em for say 15 top college games each week also.

So far my 'feels' in football are much better for spreads than over/unders; unusual for me. Too much Vegas in me over the last 3 decades but it was fun. Love the juice. (craps also)

Maybe October, 2018--my favorite month with MLB playoffs and both footballs. May/June is also good with MLB and playoffs for NBA and NHL ...

Cheatahs lose! Party time! :party:drink:cheers::july_4th:

Brady looked.....not good. 267 yards isn't bad, but lots of overthrows when he went deep, just 16-36 passing, and a big chunk of that being yards after the catch on short passes. Just one game, but he looked his age for the first time in like 6 or 7 years.

Really? I think Jax +5 is pretty good considering the circumstances

HOU will come out pumped due to Harvey; just as NO did after Katrina. HOU is a far superior team to JAX ...

Houston is a better team than Jax but Houston is worse than last year and Jax is better than last year and both their games were close last year. As far as the Harvey factor it could go either way. NO is a huge Saints town and lots of pride there, the Texans are the second most popular NFL team among fans in the Houston area.

After what we saw tonight, DAL may be the only NFC team that can beat KC in the SB. I posted already for KC, NE, TEN, and BAL to win their divisions and have now settled on MIA and HOU as WCs. The AFC seems to have more parity.

I only see 6 good teams in the NFC. DAL, GB, SEA, CAR for the divisions and ATL and AZ as strong WCs.

Both DAL and KC have great offensive lines; KC the edge on defense but injuries all around already. KC with better special teams but DAL with the edge at RB. How long will Hunt go for KC before getting injured ?

Didn't the Seahawks lose in Green Bay last year 38-10?

What has changed? Eddie Lacey? LOL.

Seems strange that SEA should have to play at GB in back-to-back years.

You acknowledged that KC was a good team before the game. Too bad there were so many injuries on both sides already ...

New England only had a half tank of gas for this game. They looked unstoppable at first but then Kansas City starting coming at them.

Even after giving up some 130 plus yards in penalties the Chiefs abused the Patriots.

The Chiefs have some guys who have that extra turbo gear and can slam that petal on the metal and blow by the defense.

Well, 1 good thing about the Pats losing is now I don't have to hear the endless nonsense from the so called 'experts' that the Pats are going to go undefeated this year. That's out of the way right from the start. During the pre-season I must have heard a dozen times that the Pats were going 16-0 this year.

Pats looked old and slow on offense last night.

That's why I don't watch much anymore.

Well, 16-0 is now out of the question but 0-16 is still within reach.

Didn't catch the game last night but I did watch the highlights, and I gotta say, the Pats look nothing like the team that just won the SB. Granted, it's the first game of the season, but you'd think the reigning champs would've put on a better show.

Brady looked, off. Like someone just reminded him he's getting older.
