They're slipping now though. Philly pulled ahead of them recently.

Oh, Man. He just came back. I think last night was his first game in weeks.
Curry out 3 weeks; Kyrie, 3-6.
Both are likely to be ready for playoff basketball. Let's hope so.
Stars aligning for Houston.
James leads the league in overall WPA in team wins, with field goals and assists accounting for roughly 80 percent of his overall WPA value. Harden is the leader in free throws per WPA, and Davis' primary contributions to his team's winning performances have been grabbing boards.
Is James Harden, LeBron James or someone else responsible for the most wins in 2017-18?
I'm not going there yet. GS is still the team to beat. Houston may just be a regular season fluke.
Harden is overrated because his game falls apart in the playoffs. Chris Paul is injury prone. And, Houston still doesn't play D.
I'd take Durant, Green, Thompson, and the rest of that team over Houston even without Steph.
But, I'm beginning to really like Cleveland's chances. Assuming they still own Toronto, that is.
I can't shake Harden mailing in that final playoff game last year. And, I can't even remember the last time Chris Paul finished a season healthy. If Houston secures home court I think they can do it.
Me either....but, I'm wishful.Cleveland hasn't convinced me yet.

Jordan could fly. But, Lebron Soars.

LeBron isn't in the same league as Jordan.
Sure he is---the NBA.
Lebron: 8 finals appearances, 7-straight, with three teams, always as the best player, often with a nobody coach.Lebron has to win 5 more championships to be considered in the same league as jordan. Right now Lebron only has 1 legitimate championship on his own. He is 1 behind Kobe.

Jordan probably would have sealed his deal had he not quit, twice. But, who knows? Would that first three-peat Bulls team have beaten the Houston teams in '94 and 95? I tend to doubt it. In fact, I doubt they get by a healthy Magic with Shaq and Penny or beat both NY and Indiana two more years to get out of the East. And, no way they beat San Antonio, once Duncan joined David, or blow by Shaq and Kobe if MJ played into Y2K.
That's not to say, MJ didn't stop some very good teams in their tracks. Phoenix, Portland, Seattle...all were exceptional. Hell, even Utah would have won if not for MJ. But, LBJ has owned the East for 10 solid years. And, he's been MVP material for 15. Now, that's ****ing impressive.
Why is it that you praise LeBron for simply making the NBA finals, even though his team has gotten embarrassed (against the Spurs x2 and Warriors x2) yet ridicule Tom Brady and call him a choker when his team barely loses in the Super Bowl three times?
