NBA 2017-18 Season

Tyronn Lue, if he were a good coach would change things up on offense:

PG: Hill
SG: JR Smith
SF: Cedi Osman
PF: LeBron
C: Tristan Thompson

Bench: Clarkson, Hood, Korver, Green, Nance Jr.

They need to play Cedi Osman. Phase out Thompson, and JR Smith.

3-5 in the Finals.

With one of those losses the biggest choke jobs in NBA history.

No. The biggest choke in history is an 18-0 Patriots blowing a Super Bowl. In basketball, it's the 73-win Warriors blowing a 3-1 Finals lead to LeBron's team.

Mic drop

Golden State has come down to earth. Can Houston finally beat them in the West? I doubt it. But, I would not be surprised to see it.

Toronto is by far the best team in the East. Cleveland may not be able to beat this team, even if all the chips fall correctly after last week's trade. But, I would not be surprised to see it.

Boston is showing that Kyrie alone is not enough. They really should have made a big trade. Kyrie needs help. Their bench sucks, and they can't score much more than 100 points a game, even with Kyrie on the floor. They won't beat Cleveland or the Raptors.

I like the Timberwolves, but for some reason they are playing like crap right now. Ditto Milwaukee. But, their crappy play has been a plague all season long. Add the Thunder to that list. Good teams, but bipolar to say the least.

Perfect timing: the new Cavs open up against a good, but beatable, Celtics team this afternoon. I think the game is in Boston. Should be interesting.

Oh that was beyond lovely.

Next up, OKC. Another good, but very beatable team.

I've suffered through enough unwatchable games this year, I'm ready for the tide to turn. Time to make the Cavs great again.

Yeah, I quit watching....until Friday. Even with only 7 rotation players, they looked better that night than they did since Christmas. They need to play like they did today, even without Kevin Love. Because KL is only an icing on the cake type player. He's good for 20 points and 10 rebounds, but he's only a 30-minute guy. And, he's certainly not a great defender.

The new guys look like good defenders though. Damn good, actually.

Cavs looking good tonight. Amazing what a change adding four young men will do

Well, the Blake Griffin/Pistons honeymoon is over. Probably time to get rid of Van Gundy.

Biggest surprise from "the trade" is Jordan Clarkston. That kid can play. I'm not sure why he didn't fit in LA, but he's exactly what the Cavs needed: a young JR Smith.

He's a undersized SG that does not have the court vision/passing skills to play PG.

He can score but is a so-so shooter.

The Cavs are improved for the short-term however not in the long-term. No way can they compete with the Warriors. This is it for the Cavs. They have no more cap space to improve.

LeBron is leaving in 5 months.

LeBron James should seriously consider the Utah Jazz next year.

They have the rebounders and defensive players surrounding him to allow him to flourish.

He would be a legend in Salt Lake City!

I doubt he leaves. And, they will not only win conference but also the title, unlike the Patriots.

How's that?

Why would any Black person ever consider moving to ****ing Utah?

LeBron isn't going to leave No Ohio a second time. And, someday he is going to own the Cavs. His kid is already slated to attend LBJ's old high school, to play in the LBJ dedicated gymnasium.

Why would he even think about leaving? Certainly not to join some Lavar Ballian clown show in LA or go all in to join the Mormon choir and play for Utah? Get real.

Congresswoman Mia Love

But Congresswoman Love is a black person who moved to Utah.

Sort of. She flew for an airline and fell in love (no pun intended), then moved to Utah and converted to the LDS. Not exactly a Lebronian circumstance.

Your question was: Why would any Black person ever consider moving to ****ing Utah?

Now you know the answer.

Off topic, but there certainly does seem to be something to the normalized version of the LDS. I've rarely run across a poor Mormon. I know they have to exist, but for the most part---pretty uncommon unless they are one of those cult Mormons living in a pluralist commune.

Some of the more isolated groups are fringe types, but I agree with your generalization. We've known more than a few, and they have been unfailingly hard-working, kind and friendly.

Woke up to see GS lost last night and are no longer in first place. :)
