Who do I like? I think Pete speaks well, but his time is later. I like Warren, but the “I have a plan for everything” rings hollow. Bernie’s time has past, imo. If one of the 2%ers can get some traction, maybe.

I agree. Most people would like to hope that the fact that Trump is a blatant racist will disqualify him in they eyes of enough Americans to prevent re-election.

It wouldn't have been be too hard for democrats to win in 2020. Trump barely won in 2016 against one of the worst candidates in history (Perhaps surpassed by only Trump himself). I say it *wouldn't have been hard but now it will be because of two things.

1) Liberals can't stay sane for any length of time (they only had to be a little normal, not even a lot) and 2) The democratic candidates as a whole have moved way left. Ideas which used to be fringe and the purview of crazy uncle Bernie are now held by all of the major candidates: Single payer health care, $15 (16, 17, 18 - whatever it becomes) minimum wage and my personal favorite: free college for everyone. All paid for by taxing "the rich".

Democratic candidates have to hope that most people are math challenged, love big government and embrace frothing moon battery. Tough sell.

If these next debates use the Kamala Harris strategy, it’s going to devolve into a food fight. At this point I see a second term, as much as I am opposed to that outcome.

The election changes between the primaries and the general. By the time of the general, voters are picking between two choices, not punishing them for what happened in the primaries. How many primary Republicans attacked trump as unfit to be president, and how many Republican voters cared that they had in the general?

IMO, the battle comes down to which team earns the most EVs in the 7 main Battleground States:

1. Florida 29 2. PA 20 3. MI 16 4. NC 15 5. AZ 11 6. WI 10 7. NH 4.

These 7 states account for 105 EVs.

In terms of who I like individually: 1. Booker 2. Pete 3. Harris.

I plan on voting on who I think can win! The Trump/Pence ticket, again IMO, holds the advantage as long as the U.S economy continues to stay strong and grow. Trump's foray into distinctly racist territory this past week give the DEMs a chance to gain ground!

That tandem cannot win Florida. How would the DEMs win the White House without Florida? In the 2016 Florida DEM primary, I voted for Bernie; he never gained strong traction in the south.

The only reason Biden is so far ahead in the polls is because the most name recoginition. As the primaries heat up, that will change and his lead will narrow and most likely disappear all together. Its way premature to. Predict who has the best chance at beating Trump. Democrats should be voting for whoever best represents their views not name recoginition.
