Mueller hands down 13 Russian indictments!

I posted it already and your link says ...
"By in or around May 2014, the organization's strategy included interfering with the 2016 U.S. presidential election, with the stated goal of "spread[ing] distrust towards the candidates and the political system in general," the indictment said.

It also states "" and by mid-2016 they supported Trump and disparaged Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. They bought ads and communicated with "unwitting" people tied to Trump campaign and others to coordinate political activities." I wonder what changed in mid 2016 that made them support Trump? I bet Manafort knows....

The individuals in question work for a group funded by Putin. Color me surprised....:mrgreen::mrgreen:

Trump and his satellite DP "Trumpies" will be working overtime this weekend coming up with new Mueller attacks and other assorted nonsense. I can hardly wait to see what they can come up with next.

The bottom line is that Trump was either lying or wrong. This IS no hoax.

Thank you Mr. Mueller for your persistence and diligence despite obvious obstructions and personal attacks from the Trump Administration.

It now seems clear some of the Russian activity was directed at DP. I recall one poster who I concluded was likely part of such an operation.

Prosecutors don't usually hold back their best stuff. If there was collusion it would be in there.

Besides which, the indictment says that these guys supported Bernie Sanders and Jill Stein, too. Collusion?

"They organized rallies for and opposing Trump on the same day"

Another nothingburger and 13 ham sandwiches ...

Mueller indicted 13 Russian who are safe and sound in their own country.
What are the chances those 13 Russians will come to the US of A again, now that Mueller wants them?!?

Some of those 13 have been "operating" in the US since 2014.
During the 2016 election, these Russians supported Bernie and Trump, while at the same time run propaganda against Trump (see indictment).
Lucky for Hillary - they disparaged her (:lamo), according to Mueller.

Rod Rosenstein: "There is no allegation in this indictment that any American had any knowledge."

What is the connection between this group and Trump?

Seriously?

It also says:

"A federal grand jury has indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities for alleged interference in the 2016 presidential elections, during which they boosted the candidacy of Donald Trump, special counsel Robert Mueller's office said Friday."

I also says:

"While that effort was launched in 2014, by early to mid-2016, the defendants were "supporting the presidential campaign of then-candidate Donald J. Trump ... and disparaging Hillary Clinton," the indictment charges."

Again, what is the connection to Trump here?

The ridiculous thing is, you can't tell a russian troll to many of the right wingers that post on forum, they both push the same stupid lies and BS

Once again shows the stupidity of the general public in this country, no wonder why things are going to **** really fast

What stupid lies were pushed against Clinton, buddy.

Again, what is the connection to Trump here?

The investigation was never limited to collusion. That's just a stupid lie people like to post.

So your answer is that this has nothing to do with Trump, right?

From #Mueller indictment, 2 of the Russians were able to enter U.S. on travel visas which they received after applying for them through the State Dept in 2014. From June 4, 2014 - June 26, 2014 they traveled around the US. Who was head of the FBI & State Dept at this time again?

Krylova and Bogacheva.

I painstakingly illustrate that you were cherry-picking from the article in an effort to deflect from its description of Russians helping Trump but hurting Clinton (and, yes, also generally disrupting things).....

....and your response comes straight from the playground: I know you are but what am I.

Sadly typical for this forum, I guess.

You do seem like you're in pain but you're just not getting the import of what the indictment means.

It also states "" and by mid-2016 they supported Trump and disparaged Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. Taken in its entirety, it was all an effort to screw with our system. And you have to analyze this in its entirety. Not only the parts that support a preconceived conclusion.
I read a CBS piece that adds some detail about who and what groups were targeted or promoted by the Russian Internet Research Agency.
It fleshes it out a bit more and you have to figure it'll get even fleshier.

We are talking about the indictments and there was interference with a goal to sew dissatisfaction with our system.
That's what me and Mueller are trying to say.

Again, what is the connection to Trump here?

It also says they were helping Bernie Sanders. They must really hate Hillary.

Maybe now they can go back to finding school shooters.

Inciting discord among Democrats over Bernie was also helping Trump win. Trump did it too...
The Russians are also involved in pro-gun promoting since the shooting. Putin loves the violence our gun happy laws promote. He doesn't have that problem in Russia, the public cannot buy guns without permission from local police and their permit must be renewed every 5 years.

You say that as if you've scored a point. The trouble is, you're trying to score a touchdown on a baseball field.

This thread is about Russians committing crimes in the process of interfering in our election, trying to help Trump, and trying to hurt Clinton.

Yes, we should thank Mueller, but have you read the indictments?

Because, they include some things you might find interesting, such as the Russians were also doing some pulling for Bernie Sanders as well as organizing rally protests against Trump.

What do you make of that?

I just read that, too. They even organized some rallies against Trump.

This is nothing more than a feeble attempt to justify the very expensive Mueller probe & is probably a friday dump to take away
attention from FBI's 'inexcusable' failure on the Florida school tragedy. Indicting 12 or so Russians, whoop-de-do,
The Snowden situation indicates that extradition treaty is now long forgotten and the U.S. and Russia have no formal agreement.
Fat chance that these Russians will ever be bought to trial.

I suppose we all come away from our incomplete information about what Russia did with our biases intact. But I think it's fair to say, from what has been disclosed so far, that the Russian intelligence effort began with a general aim of disrupting the election but then, when Trump came on the scene, the Russian effort altered course. The Russians saw that a Trump presidency would be disruptive in and of itself to a much greater degree than the election of a conventional politician. And if that is what the Russians foresaw, they foresaw correctly.

For all patriotic Americans:

Be alarmed and angry at Russian attempts to mess with our democracy and our political debates.

Be thankful, for now, that we have yet to say our President and his campaign knowingly cooperated and/or coordinated in those efforts.

For the rest of the investigation, sit tight and let the Senate and Mueller continue. Don't rush to conclusions, except to ignore the House Intelligence Committee's worthless efforts.

I just read that, too. They even organized some rallies against Trump.

If I hacked into a school computer system and changed my grades I would change other grades too to cover my tracks.

Clearly, their efforts were focused on getting Trump elected. Everything else is a distraction in case their bots were caught.

Beautiful deflection, and covering up for all your Trump collusion BS over the past year!

I think you've essentially summarized it accurately.
The only point that needs to be expanded upon is how the Russians perceived our society and, as a result, what the best strategy would be in order to create disruption before and after the election.
I believe you're suggesting they perceived Trump himself would cause the most damage to our system. ("in and of itself")
Maybe you can consider that they accurately perceived that the most vocal & activist elements of our society, including the media, would be continuously energized against him if he was elected so they tried to make that happen.
Whether they had an effect on the election, or by how much, is debatable, but that it has been successful at disruption then and now, is not.

And of course you can't discount the Russian assistance in the dossier which formed the basis of pre and post-election activities to destroy Trump ... and that was all anti-Trump pre and post.
