What Moms For Liberty are describing when they say parental rights is a property right, not parental rights as most people would think of it. Its right to ownership and control of children. They openly admit their goal is to control their children’s education to indoctrinate them.
 
Dumb. I haven't read the book she's talking about, but a 17-year old can legally read a book with sex in it (duh). Pornography has a clear definition and it isn't "anything about or containing sex". The Armentrout book I have read was very spicy, but I wouldn't consider it pornography. Sexually explicit, yes.

It has been smoldering for decades, perhaps even 100 years, but was given official permission during the Trump Presidency. It comes from a deep suspicion of intellectuals, foreigners, change, and sexuality. There is a bit of chauvinism and Jingoism as well mixed into the brew.
 
Elon Twitter LITERALLY has porn on it and nude beaches in Florida allow kids and Evangelical MAGA Mike and Moms for Liberty and DeSantis aren't fighting those things.

Actually the direct cause was the election of John Kennedy.

I was there. A new immigrant from Canada. Walked into a ****ing war! Was not at all surprised he was assassinated and even less so when it was covered up. That's when America lost its innocence.

I will never believe the American government as a result. Since then, the nation has been slowly reaching a boiling point as the lies and crimes get buried deeper and deeper. Obama was a temporary reprieve and brought about by "weapons of mass destruction". I thought the peace/race marches of the 60's would trip a civil war. So I left.

But its coming. I will be surprised if America as we know it survives past November of 2024. If Trump can't have it, he will destroy it.
