Major League Baseball 2017

Dodgers and Cubs got the prime time game tonight, and twice next week when there's both ALCS and NLCS games.

Being the Cubs and Dodgers are 2 of the favorite 'national' teams that makes sense. Sucks for NL fans like me though, 8 pm start means more 12am-1am finishes that I won't be awake to see.

I meant to say 5:05 Pacific today; along with 4:35 Pacific tomorrow; both poor times for batter vision ;

Seager out. This is bad. Real bad.

Yankees make the third out at third base. Stupid baseball. With Aaron Judge coming up.

I'm going to watch the NL game tonight but I have no idea who I'm going to root for, or against. I don't like either team, or hate either team.

A real dilemma, bummer.

Unusual for me, I'm going with an AL team. Astros have never won a WS and they are not the Yankees. Therefore they are my team.

It also has to do with the Dodgers being on the West Coast, so the games don't start too early.

That wasn't me. When the Dodgers went 1-15 one of the reasons was that Seager was out of the lineup. Maybe it wasn't *the* reason but this is very troubling news.

But you were just telling us Kershaw would win this. Now he needs Seager too?

Forsythe looks like a huge key for you with his career stats v. Q ...

Astros still have a lot of NL flavor in them. So far, Yanks haven't exploited their catcher weakness ...

Astros may not score more than 3 runs a game all series, by the looks of it.

My bad.

I confused you with the irrational Yankee fan.

But you’re really giving me some hope... I think the Cubs will have a tough challenge this series.

Today’s game is almost a punt. Q has just pitched in relief, and Lackey has been an absolute disaster in the first inning, making any relief stint super scary. Even if they manage to keep it close, they have no closer for today (and maybe tomorrow?) and a mess of a pen.

IF Q gets in trouble, I expect Lackey with their spent bullpen. The idea of piggybacking starters is gaining in MLB.

We hear today that the baseball seams really are different, a tighter baseball, leading to different grip issues, helping and hurting different pitchers ...

Cederstrom and Guccione in games 3 and 4, along with the 3/4 starters from both teams, should lead to lots of runs. Both umps are major overs and major homers ...

Even if Verlander loses he's probably going to get a hummer from Kate Upton tonight. Its good to be Verlander.

Lol. You're certifiable.

He could do a lot better than that cow.

Gimme Shelter for the Hashstros ...
