Lakers dynasty is set!

You need to stop. The Clippers are the little brother in Los Angeles. Not even a little brother you want to be around. They are like the little brother that does drugs.

Being a Clippers fan is a cry for help. Why would any SANE fan choose to be a fan of the Clippers over the Lakers? Are they sadists? Do they enjoy pain or enjoy being a victim?

The Clippers are like the Mets and Jets.

Clippers
Mets
Jets

The clown franchises.

Yankees
Lakers
Giants

The A teams in their city. Things won't change.

Lebron went to the finals 8-straight years, and then he joined the loser Lakers and missed the playoffs completely. :lamo

What do the Lakers, Knicks, Kings and Suns have in common? No playoff appearances for at least 6 years! :2rofll:

The "dynasty" is finished before it begins because the foundation is cracked. Lebron is in decline.

LeBron is definitely on the downside of his career. IMO, that is why he went to LA. It's his plan B.

Sadly, so will be Durant by the time he returns from his devastating injury. Nets were foolish to dish out the money they did for him, IMO. Not signing him was the one instance where the Knicks actually made the right move.

As for the Lakers...I suspect that they just might make the playoffs next year. But, I doubt they go past the 2nd round.

This thread has worse takes than r/nba. That's almost unfathomable.

1. Lakers are going to make the playoffs. Their success beyond that is based on how much Lebron regresses, and if Boogie can still ball.

2. The Clips, who pushed the warriors, added PG and Kawhi with the rosters mostly intact. They're the favorites, barring injury of course.

3. Even if KD doesn't comeback 100% he'll still be a good nba player.

4. Raptors are probably going to be a playoff team still, but they're not getting by the similar level 76ers or Bucks next year. Both of those series were close, and Kawhi played out of his mind to carry the team to the finals.

5. Speaking of Kawhi, the 2x FMVP has shown himself to be better than AD thus far.

Weak bench puts them behind the Clips, Jazz, Warriors, Nuggets and Blazers, IMO.

Sold club, 1-12. Not a single weakness, except, perhaps, their coach. And, even he is pretty damned good.

KD will be 32 years old upon return. He probably does not suck in 2021, but I doubt he will be a top-5 or even 10 player.

Bucks are, by far, the team to beat in the East. Sixers have potential to get behind. Everyone else really needs Russel Westbrook to make a splash. Raptors maybe should see if they can get him in a deal, but he won't pay dividends like Kawhi did.

Kawhi: a mature, highly confident absolute winner who can own anyone in the league. AD: still a bit of a puppy who lacks confidence and toughness, seems content being LeBron's ball washer.

Wow. The Clippers do not have a "single" weakness.

Is this team going to rival the great Bulls team with Jordan? Even they had a weakness but according to Calamity, the Clippers do not have 1 weakness!

FYI Kawhi called Durants first to team up with, he declined. He called Kyrie Iriving second, and he declined. Paul George was his plan C!

Let's review Paul George's career:

Couldn't get through the east on a good Pacers team. Demanded a trade.

Couldn't win in the first round with his second team, the Thunder. Not completely his fault however Westbrook did make the finals and deep in the playoffs with Durant.

Also, Paul George CHEATED on Doc Rivers daughter with a stripper! Not sure how that team chemistry will go!

Stop, you shouldn't be allowed to talk about basketball:

Anthony Davis, age 26:

Career averages: 23.7 ppg, 10.5 rebounds, 2.4 blocks, 51.7 fg%

Kawhi Leonard, age 28

Career averages: 17.7 ppg, 6.3 rebounds, 0.7 blocks, 49.5 fg%

So explain to me how Kawhi is better than AD, when he doesn't do as much???

They cant afford CP3.

He will be cut by the Thunder. Of course, the Lakers can afford him. He will sign for the minimum. You do realize Chris Paul is the godparent of LeBron's son?

Chris Paul wants to win a ring, and that aint happin' with the Heat or Pistons.

He's not leaving 100 million dollars on the table.

Chris Paul will be bought out from the Thunder. Paul will have to forfeit 10% of his contract but he will do it to play with his good friend LeBron James.

You don't realize the influence of LeBron and his inner circle.

Anthony Davis waived $4 million to help out the Lakers with cap space! Seems like a bad decision but now Davis is in Space Jam 2, a film produced by LeBron James.

This is what smart players/teams do. Do you really think the Patriots aren't taking care of Tom Brady?

Tom Brady takes a $60 million discount with the Patriots but the team makes it up by funding TB12, a limited liability corporation.

Smart teams and players know how to maneuver through these type of things.

How did that Kawhi signing with the Lakers because LeBron is such a good recruiter work out for you?
