Arizona poll shows Kelly overtaking McSally | TheHill

Sen. Martha McSally (R-Ariz.) trails her Democratic opponent for the first time, according to a new survey, as President Trump's approval rating falls in the key swing state.

Retired astronaut Mark Kelly leads McSally, the retired fighter pilot-turned-politician, by a 46 percent to 41 percent margin...

We should be seeing a lot of this sort of thing in the coming weeks as the GOP pay a steep price for covering up crimes against the state.
 
Arizona is one of the most pro gun states in the country. McSally isn't a major league champion of that, and the woman who beat her last time was not anti gun. However, Kelly is a hard core bannerrhoid and on top of that-is head of the Goofy Giffords Gun Grabbing Group. What plays out over VA in the next few months could determine how this race pans out. If Trump judges start smacking down the idiocy of Va and some of the other "lets stick it to gun owners" states, then I think Kelly's chances actually go up

well these tea party folks were not too bright to begin with. Now when you have astronauts and military female ass-kickers running as Democrats, you'd think the right would wise up and stop it with the all liberals are evil baby eaters, but of course not...

I hope she's being punished in the polls for her Trump-like hackery the other day. I thought she was better than that, and what she said about the press way beneath her. If the voters in AZ agree, that's a good thing. She shouldn't be rewarded for acting like an idiot partisan.

BTW, that article is really dated - August 2019.... Might want to update it with something more recent.

Ya vote her out for saying one thing. That's what people who get their feelings hurt easily would say. The rest of us will look at the job she is doing and keep our emotions out of it.

I don't appreciate politicians who talk to me like I'm an idiot, which is what she did the other day - appealed to the mouth-breathing idiot block of the GOP. If she doesn't have enough respect for herself and the office to behave like a respectable adult, then I'll look elsewhere. She's not in my state, but I just thought it was beneath a person with her record. YMMV, and that's OK.

The poll shows a dangerous trend for McSally, who now trails Kelly by 9 percentage points in Maricopa County, home to about 3 in 5 Arizona voters. In the group's last poll, McSally trailed Kelly in Maricopa by 5 points.

As an AZ voter, I can tell you, people of both parties are sick of McSally. She lost once, then the idiot gov made her a senator, big mistake. She is the queen of saying stupid things and then relying on the old "I was a fighter pilot" crap so that the rubes would support her. Well, that's nice Sally, but Mark Kelley ups your service, and he isn't an asshole. Kelly wins by 5 percentage points, and McSally goes away....like she should have 2 years ago when she lost the first time. Good riddance to a "hack".
 
Two polling firms on RCP have Kelly up 46-42 on Jan. 8 and 47-44 on 12/7/19. How will coattails work this election?

Senate races in 2016 in the swing states of AZ, FL, PA, NC, IA, OH, WI, and GA were all won by Republicans at GREATER voter totals than trump won those states, often by much greater totals.

And his wife was nearly assassinated by a whack job with a gun. Your attempts to paint him as a gun banner will not work. And, thankfully, you don't get to vote in this race.....but I do...

It is an old article, but Kelly is kicking her ass in fundraising, she is scared, just like when she ran against Sen. Sinema, it will be fun watching her try to sully Kelly like she did Sinema....I got a mailer that showed downtown Phoenix destroyed by a nuclear bomb, that is what her supporters said would happen if McSally lost.

She is a pathetic hack.

It was obvious that McSally preplanned her ‘hack’ comment on Manu. Her aide was taping and McSally was laughing. The White House immediately picked up on it for fundraising purposes.

GOTV is always critical in your now swing state. Fighting pathetic and disgusting smears against Kelly and Giffords are nothing new for them. The new lows in lies from republicans should never be underestimated.
