It finally happened in my hometown

Are you going to be a contrarian about everything I say, because you’re butthurt that I won’t play your silly word games? That’s just sad, and dumb.

Nope.. I am contradicting.. well just about everything you say... because so far.. what you say is not based on logic or fact. Now.. you can do your silly rants.. and call me names or whatever...

OR you could actually provide facts and logic and support your positions.

THATS whats sad and dumb.. is the fact that on a debate website.. you call people names and use personal attacks.. because you can't defend your own positions.

That's funny....I dont see a link.

Everyone just move out of the cities folks.

Priceless

Here you go... https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvsr/nvsr61/nvsr61_06.pdf

By the way.. why are you advocating moving out of the cities?

I would suggest.. that instead of that.. and instead of focusing on gun control.. which clearly has not worked.

We should do things like expand educational opportunities, expand job opportunities, improve access to mental health and access to drug rehabilitation rather than incarceration..

Things that have been proven to reduce violence and gang activity.

But please Vegas.. please explain your position that we should move from the cities.

Dude that link does not even mention gun deaths.

Did you think I would not check? Lol

Can you name the city that has done that successfully with lax gun laws?

If you take out the number of gun deaths that are not suicides or gang related the USA has no more gun deaths than most other first world nations.

And people who are suicidal or who are involved with criminal gangs are not living regular lives.
A simple, straightforward (erroneous) assertion that you sliced and diced, pathetically trying to create a plausible case in support of just to contradict my response. THAT is super sad, and dumb.

And your passive-aggressiveness is as completely obvious as your contrarianism, so drop the “poor me, I’m being picked on” crap.

Yawnnn…

Look man..either you can debate and provide logical and factual support for you positions.. or you cannot.

So far.. you haven't provided anything but insults and BS.

So you admit you posted a fake link.

Hahahahaha

Nope. It was not fake..but it did not have the statistic that I thought it did because the link was truncated.

Oh it says a lot about infant mortality.

Fake news

Your credibility is how zero

Your study includes two cities?

Priceless

Why does NYC have the lowest crime rate of any large city in America? Lol

You asked for a city that did well with lax gun laws.. I showed you.

Why does NYC have lowest crime rate of any large city:

Well first...I dispute that it has the lowest crime rate of any large city in America. It did not make the list of top 10 safest cities on this list:

10 Safest & Most Dangerous Metro Cities in America | SafeWise

however..to answer what tends to make a city safer? IT sure as heck.. isn't gun laws.. because some of the most dangerous cities have the most stringent gun laws.

Its things like... gang activity, police presence, educational opportunity, median wages, income inequality, etc.

Nah.. .my credibility is just fine. Yours on the other hand...

So again.. please tell me why you think that the answer to crime in the cities is to move?

It can't be gun control.. because most of the most dangerous US cities also have stringent gun control.

So please.. explain why the answer is for people to move.

And not as I suggest.. increase educational and economic opportunity, access to mental health, increase access to rehabilitation of drug use vs incarceration.. etc.

Safewise???? Hoky cow your credibility is really in the tank dude

The states with the lowest gun deaths tend to be strict gun control states

The states with the lowest gun deaths tend to be strict gun control states

Sure... so what?

As pointed out.. that does not make them safer.. just fewer gun deaths.. which is an invalid statistic.

Communities that don't use bicycles.. have fewer bike deaths. Does not mean that they have fewer accidental deaths.

Sure..
Let's see....I got a fake link around here somewhere. Lol

Cripes man.. I would be glad to see ANY links from you. You can't even come up with a fake one.

Did you read the methodology of your safewise link?

I did. It excludes 3 states....one being the safest state in America....and is a list of median cities not large cities.

Dude...major fail. You are done here

Wrong. It’s not even close. America has the most firearms, by far, than any other first world country, and the highest gun related death rate (subtracting suicides/death by gun while committing a crime). Asserting otherwise is ludicrous.

Well yes, after you subtract suicides and gang related deaths most of what's left in terms of gun deaths is justifiable homicides. Justifiable homicides are not a bad thing, of course you're not going to find much in the way of justifiable homicides, at least not with guns, in countries where there aren't that many guns.

So yes, when you do subtract suicides and gang related gun deaths the USA still does have the highest gun death rate, because of justifiable homicides.

Prove it.

No.....in fact....just run away

One of the things the gun banners never mention nor acknowledge is that unlike other "first world nations" US citizens derive millions upon millions of hours of enjoyment participating in the shooting sports such as hunting, trap shooting, sporting clays, formal target shooting, etc. Competitive shooting is not limited to government employees, as it is in many countries and hunting is not a past time for only the rich as is the case in many European nations.

Now there are two reasons why the anti gun activists never include this in their stilted evaluations of guns in America. The most obvious is that few of them participate in these activities so they ignore them. More importantly, is that the real motivation for gun control is NOT crime control but to punish and harass gun activists and groups like the NRA for our political views and how we vote. So when the gun control is discussed and evaluated, the reason why recreational values of guns is never part of the discussion by the Gun controllers, it is because those activities are exactly what the gun controllers are hoping to get rid of.

I’m impressed. You really dug deep for that BS answer.
