The Democratic leadership has been calling for Trumps impeachment since the day he was elected. To this date none of them has provided a single shred of evidence that he has committed any high crimes that would warrant such action. With that being the case, should the members of Congress who have consistently called for the impeachment of the President of the United States be charged with Treason for attempting to undermine the United States Government without any proof or evidence?

Better hope not.

Attempts to overthrow a duly elected president could certainly be considered treasonous.

Is that the tweet leftist loons made such a kerfuffle over? He even put "wires tapped" in quotes. Yet, that didn't stop dopey libs from crying "wiretapped wiretapped wiretapped!".

Thanks for posting that.

No. Members of congress are not treasonous for calling for impeachment.

You mean like all the politicians that claimed Obama was a Muslim or not born in the U.S.? Were you calling for their heads as well?

A crime which only came to light after years of investigations.

We are still in the investigation stage.

No, actually, after he lied under oath it was discovered pretty quickly.

Name calling is not the same as coup d'etat.

Not through constitutional process, it is not.

In fact stating that such legal action is treason can be actionable for civil suit for damages for libel.

Certainly...once he rides off into the sunset like expresidents traditionally do.

No, but they should be recognized for what they are, and how they are behaving, which is little more than just a leftist noise machine, spouting substance-less political propaganda.

They should, by all rights, be ignored until (given the remote outside chance) that they may actually have a case for impeachment.

Until then? Ignore them as you would ignore a child with a temper-tantrum. The more you pay attention, the more temper-tantrums you'll get.

Libs were talking about impeachment before Trump even took office. This is a different animal. The "constitutional process" for impeachment requires actual evidence of high crimes, and misdemeanors. To date, there is none. This is a coup attempt, nothing less.

Impeachment is for "high crimes and misdemeanors," the which the House decides what are actionable, not necessarily for crimes under federal criminal law.

There is no evidence for high crimes and misdemeanors. None, zip, zilch, zero, nada.

Absolutely not but they should be voted out. Its not treason

Nope, countryboy, you are not the one who decides that issue. It's the House, not you.

No, he actually committed a crime.

Which there was no evidence before investigations. In fact, the problematic testimony to which you refer never would have happened without the investigations.

Guys, guys, just stop. To even ask pertinent questions in a news conference is treasonous....if you're asking Trump. Getting rid of a Democrat is totally ok.
