“Race” is not an arbitrary social construction and the fuzziness of racial definitions does not negate their reality in several contexts. The most concrete of these differences, based on genetics, is where most of a persons ancestors originate. Blacks (African Negroids) are those who have most of their ancestors from sub-Saharan Africa; Whites (European Caucasoids) have most of their ancestors from Europe; and East Asians (Orientals, Mongoloids) have most of their ancestors from Pacific Rim countries. Although he dodged the term race, Cavalli-Sforza’s (2000, p. 70) showed a maximum likelihood tree made on the basis of molecular genetic markers substantially supports the traditional racial groups classification (Indeed, in 2018 all the gene testing services can provide an approximate breakdown of the regional-racial ancestry of person). Of course, in referring to population or racial group differences we are discussing averages.

Research can fine tune people's ancestries even further than just a general region. Like I said before, in some instances they can even trace which particular neighborhood of London your ancestors may may have been from. The science is that good. But that doesn't make people from that neighborhood a different race or subspecies.

Based on research models used in behavioral genetics and cognitive abilities a substantial part (say 50%) of both individual and group differences is genetic. It therefore it follows that even if all individuals in both groups were treated identically, average group differences would not disappear - those group differences closely aligned to racial group classification (ancestry origin and physical traits).

So yes race exists "scientifically" based on facts, in spite of the post-modernist delusions to the contrary.

Some families are short AND bald. You can even identify people from that family by such characteristics. Doesn't make them a different race. Not, at least, unless you choose to socially DEFINE them that way.

Rome was all white. And they only started falling apart when they stopped tolerating all the massively diverse religions in their empire and adapted Christianity as the official state religion. Is that what you are envisioning for us here?

Rome had a diverse empire for centuries. They could and very well did sustain a multi ethnic empire for far longer than your precious homogenous countries have even been a coherent entity.

I'm not saying that Asians inherently cannot assimilate. Far from it. I went to high school with plenty of Asians who were fully assimilated. What I take issue with is large groups of them forming enclaves and not assimilating. That can be dealt with by limiting immigration. Further, with home prices at record highs relative to incomes, what in the world are we doing letting foreigners buy any property here? We should be taking care of Americans first.

When we slowed immigration at the earlier part of the 20th, that almost affected my people, who came in under the wire from Sicily.

But your thoughts represent the swings in US history. Open doors/resent immigrants/close doors/immigrants become solid citizens/open doors/resent immigrants. Wash, rinse, repeat.

And now is the time when we should be limiting immigration, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Not only that, but refugees get access to assistance programs that most Americans have never even heard of.

Yes, refugees get better treatment from the government than you do. And they get access to home assistance, along with other programs. Think about that next time you see an article about millennials not being able to afford a home.

They send much of their earned income out of the US, back to their countries of origin. I'm not saying I don't understand the desire to help their families, in fact I respect them for that. But for the sake of this discussion it's worthy to note that illegal immigrants working in America are more of a monetary asset to the countries they came from, than to the USA. That's the real reason Mexico is dead set against building a wall or doing anything that would cause illegal migration into the USA to cease.

We are being fleeced, and it's time that we stand up to this dirty scheme that is impoverishing many working Americans.
