Re: Insider Blows Whistle & Exec Reveals Google Plan to Prevent "Trump situation" in 2020 on Hidden
Why do you want to regulate corporations, Buzz? Don't you believe in their freedom?
Not completely...no. I don't play the right vs. left game. I'm both...or I try to be. That's because a long long time ago, in a universe far far away...
I discovered that neither can exist alone. You might have gleaned that too, had you been paying attention to the things that have been going on for decades now.
I call Libbies "Libbies" because they're in the process of friggin' destroying Liberalism. I find that disturbing.
They only seem to believe in "freedom" at their behest and permission. Its all frightfully fascist.
But corporation and government control...ok.
Ya I'm good with it as long as the government is actually representing the gawd-damn constituencies, instead of their own interests.
In this case, Google has chosen to covertly **** with its search engine results and page placements. I've done marketing campaigns on Google. This is exactly contrary to their own regulations. Which openly displays an attitude of superiority and arrogance. Thus I say...break up the corporation and warn them to never tread on free speech ever again. Maybe in doing so, we the people can take back the impositions on You Tube as well.
The Internet "rules" for open chat should be basic.
No death threats.
No personal bullying.
**Adding after some pondering** Data containing child porn and/or non-consensual sexual acts, and/or the act of murder.
If people wanna lie...let 'em lie.
If they wanna post pics of whatever they wanna post...let 'em.
Maintain pure objectivity within the realm of search presentation.
THAT'S the Internet. Now...should one or two of the major app providers find those simple rules and guide lines impossible to follow...create a government agency and impose rules on them. Because they have already shown to be incapable of following even the simplest of rules. Rules...BTW...that most of them spent years defending in the 80's and 90's.
The Free Internet.
