In case you don't quire get it....

There's decades of business results to review, and his last term.

No, because he still has three years left. He started out with a bang, so the reaction's been commensurate with the amount of actions.

Hard to know yet since it's all vaporware. We'd have to see an actual signed trade treaty. We're still at the "Dear Mr. Japan" stage.

That's an ongoing tally.

Good question. Trump was very interested in this until he wasn't. Now he's splitting his supporters into two camps, where the "PAST supporters" are the ones who insist on holding him accountable to his campaign promise.

We're still not sure what the exact damage was.

Nope, and it's likely Trump doesn't either.
I guess all you can do is stand on the sidelines like the rest of us.
But the floundering Opposition is free to throw rocks at the Administration while the deals are still in progress.
I'm just glad Trump hasn't been caught jaywalking because that would be a crime to the Opposition just on principle.

This might have more validity as a defense if we all weren’t aware of the many many times he has actually ****ed up. For decades.
The bottom line he is still the duly elected president of our country and Kamala is not.

That's what you have to live with for more than 3.5 years.

I don't worry about that.

So you're arguing against using critical thinking to consider potential outcomes to Trump's actions and policies?

Would you have told a jew "Don't over analyze it. Just get on the cattle car"?
:) (y)

This is generally how politics in this country works.

One can argue much of what he's been doing is jaywalking since he changes his mind about things at the drop of a hat.

We've always known he exaggerates, changes his mind, and takes credit where credit is not due. What else is new?

Don't vote for him in 2028 if it makes you feel better.

If he is so bad, why did the majority of voters put him in the White House?
You should be more worried how Biden managed to steal the White House in 2020. There was NO WAY a majority of voters put him in the White House, amirite?

Because something is known to be defective doesn't mean one stops calling it out. That's how bars get lowered to substandard levels.

Don't vote for him in 2028 if it makes you feel better.
Well he can't run, but if he does I have no intention of voting for him anymore than I did in 2016, 2020, and 2024.

To Leftists, it doesn't really matter if Trump is right to improve trade with those taking advantage of our open markets.
If Trump is doing it, it must be wrong.
Incorrect. What's been called out are his methods, and the assumptions he's made.

Good for you. I wouldn't vote for him either. And I haven't in three elections.

So we're in agreement. We should have a beer in celebration of that.

Incorrect. What's been called out are his methods, and the assumptions he's made.
You can criticize all of his methods as assumptions he has made.

What we should all be focusing on is whether the Dems can win back the House and whether that means another wasteful impeachment attempt on the part of the hapless Dems party.
The beginning of next year will tell whether the Dems will emerge from the desert and become relevant again.

Yeah, it's hard to tell what the Democrats are going to do given the relative radio silence. There's certainly the space for them as an alternative given how unpopular Trump is, but they need their own case to make other than they are not what Trump is.

I hate to say it but this is yet another benefit of the Trump presidency: He forced leftists to understand the benefits of free trade.
Riiiiiiiight- because the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TTP) were both made by rightists, and now Trump has set those darned leftists straight. 🤭 (y)

Bill Clinton was the kind of liberal modern leftists like you hate, and anyway it came from Republicans:

The impetus for a North American free trade zone began with U.S. president Ronald Reagan, who made the idea part of his 1980 presidential campaign. After the signing of the Canada–United States Free Trade Agreement in 1988, the administrations of U.S. president George H. W. Bush, Mexican president Carlos Salinas de Gortari, and Canadian prime minister Brian Mulroney agreed to negotiate what became NAFTA.

Leftists are people like Bernie:

And union scum:

Why don't you stick to Trump, Haitians, and cats, that's more your speed.

Everyone should use critical thinking skills to determine whether what he/she is reading is credible or simply propaganda bullshit. How does one tell the difference?
There is no one answer to that question.

I imagine in the early 1940s there were Jews who sadly wanted to believe they were being moved to a place where they could be together with their families and eventually returned home after the Nazis were defeated.
That's why Israel is as powerful as it is right now. NEVER AGAIN!! makes a lot of sense right now. They absolutely must be ready to defend itself against enemies who want to see Israel destroyed.
Fortunately we live in a powerful country of 330 million people who will never see American citizens told to get into a cattle car by an outside force that wants to exterminate us.

BTW, that's an invitation for someone to cleverly respond by equating to what is now happening to illegal aliens (not citizens) who are being arrested and processed for deportation to their home countries.
What have you heard from Trump or MAGA media that you regard as bullshit?

The bottom line he is still the duly elected president of our country and Kamala is not.

That's what you have to live with for more than 3.5 years.

I don't worry about that.
We could get lucky and his heart could explode.

So you're arguing against using critical thinking to consider potential outcomes to Trump's actions and policies?

Would you have told a jew "Don't over analyze it. Just get on the cattle car"?
First of all capitalize the J in Jew. Secondly your analogy is a crock of shit. When Jewish people and others were forced onto cattle cars to their deaths most did not know the fate that awaited them. For you to use planned extermination of people jammed into train cars as the same scenario of ignorance as to Americans now faced with tariffs is odious. People have full access to the policy of tariffs, the use of tariffs, the pros and cons of tariffs, and most importantly this policy is not being used to target the death of a specific type of American.

So phack your disrespectful trivialization of the holocaust and Jews.

Next if you want to use proper analogies about Trump and his policies many if not all of his behaviour is totalitarian and full of racist and bigoted tropes. His creation of jails to arrest illegals not to mention the use of ICE using terrorist procedures to instill fear in the masses when arresting people raises such analogies. So do many of his phrases.

His tariff policy reflects two things: 1-his absolute ignorance of when a tariff might be used and why trade deficits in fact are indicative of the US doing well economically not to mention assisting it be able to obtain favourable loans from those countries with the deficits to fuel even more profit; 2-his absolute inability to understand anything to do with engaging in mutually beneficial relationships.

So still waiting for you to condemn Trump on his tariffs at least as vehemently as you condemn Democrats on free trade agreements.

Experts! Where are the "experts" who can decide if the majority of voters were wrong to select Trump over the DEI-hire Kamala?
Brain-Fart, not "wrong".....................your response shows bias
Trump won and Kamala lost. Is that somehow bad for our democracy which chose the more desirable candidate last November?
not bad for democracy.............Jan. 6 was , yes............Trump was, yes........................but the election was just a setback for America
There are people wandering around in the desert still trying to figure out why they lost to the candidate they think the majority made a mistake?
they know why-----but they shake their heads at voter stupidity
I hope they never come to their senses and continue to be disorganized and fractured within their own party.
then you are not much of a patriot if all you worry about is "party" instead of the best candidate
Let them keep hoping the loser Newsom continues to be the front runner for 2028.
He is far superior than Trump

So still waiting for you to condemn Trump on his tariffs at least as vehemently as you condemn Democrats on free trade agreements.

The search feature is your friend.

Trump is an idiot, his tariffs would be extremely bad for America, and I'm very happy the court stopped him.

It is shocking that 42% support Trump's idiotic tariffs. Democracy is such a clown show.

First of all, tariffs hurt everyone, including "the rich". All over the news you can find very wealthy people arguing against Trump's tariffs.

They all should, since all of the states all going to be harmed by the tariffs.

If anything he's understating the financial harm the tariffs will cause.

That's false. The constitution gives the power to impose tariffs to congress, not the president. Plus Trump's "emergency" excuse is bullshit.

Doesn't matter. Import taxes make American consumers worse off, end of story.

Compared to what? The alternative is central planning, like Trump's tariffs.

This article is about the oil supply, but Trumps tariffs will negatively effect literally thousands of other businesses as well.

The tariffs were the reason I didn't vote for him.

I've started several threads about Trump's idiotic tariffs:

If he is so bad, why did the majority of voters put him in the White House?

If Jerry Springer isn't really compelling television, then why would so many Ameritards eagerly rush to their TVs to watch it?

I guess there are some truly stupid Americans who want to see dumb people do dumb things.

You're making the vile assumption that people who watched that inane show also put Trump into office.

Tell that to the more than 70 million Americans who were fed up with Biden's senility in office and then Kamala's hubris thinking she could lead the most powerful and important country in the world.
