In case you don't quire get it....

I guess there are some truly stupid Americans who want to see dumb people do dumb things.

You're making the vile assumption that people who watched that inane show also put Trump into office.

Tell that to the more than 70 million Americans who were fed up with Biden's senility in office and then Kamala's hubris thinking she could lead the most powerful and important country in the world.
One thing for sure, democrats are not going to correct their bad policies, and they aren't doing any better with candidates. They are convinced they are right on the border, on trans policy, on women's sports, on giving in to every country around, and on allowing billions to go to keep illegals in the U.S. Problem is 80 percent of America disagrees with them.

First of all capitalize the J in Jew. Secondly your analogy is a crock of shit. When Jewish people and others were forced onto cattle cars to their deaths most did not know the fate that awaited them. For you to use planned extermination of people jammed into train cars as the same scenario of ignorance as to Americans now faced with tariffs is odious. People have full access to the policy of tariffs, the use of tariffs, the pros and cons of tariffs, and most importantly this policy is not being used to target the death of a specific type of American.

So phack your disrespectful trivialization of the holocaust and Jews.

Next if you want to use proper analogies about Trump and his policies many if not all of his behaviour is totalitarian and full of racist and bigoted tropes. His creation of jails to arrest illegals not to mention the use of ICE using terrorist procedures to instill fear in the masses when arresting people raises such analogies. So do many of his phrases.

His tariff policy reflects two things: 1-his absolute ignorance of when a tariff might be used and why trade deficits in fact are indicative of the US doing well economically not to mention assisting it be able to obtain favourable loans from those countries with the deficits to fuel even more profit; 2-his absolute inability to understand anything to do with engaging in mutually beneficial relationships.
My analogy is fine and here's why: Hitler did not begin the Holocaust with cattle cars. He started it with a campaign promise to fight birth defects. He said he would turn the power of the state to wipe out birth defects. Who could possibly be against defeating birth defects, right? The people ate it up.

What Hitler didn't say (at that time) was he considered anyone who was not pure Aryan to be inferior, even sub human and that Jews were a race-wide birth defect, deserving to being irradicated. By the time the German people woke up to the realities of Hitler's war on birth defects, it was too late.

Well, I hope there aren't any Democrats around with a lick of common sense or logic who is going to convince the rank and file they have been wrong all along.
Given the occasional Trump stumbling, and stupid remarks, the Democrats have (almost) enough to win back the House next year unless the GOP gets smart about selling to the public (in 2026) what Trump has already made happen.

I did not challenge your earlier analogy based on what you now say was or is me claiming Hitler began the holocaust with cattle cars.

Here is what I stated in challenge to your analogy:

"First of all capitalize the J in Jew. Secondly your analogy is a crock of shit. You tried to make some ridiculous analogy as to the ignorance of Jews as to their knowledge of the full extent of the holocaust with American citizens now being ignorant and I explained why using the word Jew with a small J and the analogy made no sense and in fact trivialize the victims of the holocaust as being in the same position as current Americans are in regards to Trump policies.

Americans have access on public domain to all the negative consequences of what Trump is doing whether it be with his Trump tariff, his Epstein cover up, his other comments and policies-Jews did not have the legal or political rights Americans to do today to challenge and hold their leader accountable not to mention a free press.

You clearly did not understand that and now go off trying to argue with me as to the origins of the holocaust which has nothing to do with your half assed attempt to create an analogy between Jewish victims of the holocaust and people who question Trump.

Next you now express even more ignorance. The T4 program and the holocaust are two distinct phenomena. They are not one and the same and in history when we study them we take care to make sure when we discucss the T4 policy we explain not just its parallel them of defining targeted persons as not worthy of life but the different manners and reasons for how they were created and then implemented. The holocaust or shoah as it is called in Hebrew refers to the system slaughter of all Jews. In regards to the systemic slaughter of the mentally disabled or other targeted groups such as the Jehova's Witnesses,7th Day Adventists, Roma people. gays, political prisoners (soclalists. communists, Christian Democrats) their killings are all studied as having happened during the holocaust but they are all referred to distinctly as a sign of respect so as not to have them compete in significance or consequence. Each one for its own unique reasons is studied and honoured and while similar demonization thought processes are studied far different traits, consequences are also studied so as not to trivialize any of them.

Do me a favour stop referring to both the T4 program and holocaust. They have nothing to do with this thread.

Excellent analysis of the execution of the Final Solution ordered by HItler.
After visiting Auschwitz and Birkenau just a couple of short months ago, I have a new appreciation of the mechanisms and horror that came out of that insidious plan presented in January 1942.

Thank you. Isn't it amazing Jay with such lessons behind us. Americans can not see warning signs with Trump and why to challenge his authoritarianism as much as possible and hold him accountable to the people.

That though is for Americans. Many countries face similar issues with dictatorial, totalitarian and authoritarian tyrants or dictators.

Authoritarianism in any government must always be challenged.
Constitutional guard rails need to be enforced constantly.
I would not want to be a SCOTUS justice right now.
And certainly Not the Fed Chairman.

Your last comment is telling. Right-wing authoritarianism in Europe is on the rise mainly because of increased immigration and the threat coming from Russia.
