If Trump fires Mueller - Impeachment?

Would you support impeachment of Trump is Special Counsel Mueller is fired?

Always amused by military people giving unqualified support to a draft dodger while being perfectly willing to trash a man who was a company commander in Vietnam, earned numerous awards for gallantry and actually earned a Purple Heart as opposed to being handed one on a stage, and who has years of devoted public service to both Republican and Democratic administrations.

I guess there is more to this cult thing than I originally thought. By the way, I'm ex-military who fought in the same war that Mueller did - you know, the one Trump avoided.

Thank you for your service. Wish that Donald had been honorable enough to fight alongside you.

Hes a long time mentor of comey. Cops distance themselves from cases in which their friends and family are involved.

At least if they want their case to be taken seriously.

Picking a clinton team of lawyers doesnt help either.

Special counsel team members donated to Dems, FEC records show - CNNPolitics.com
"Three of the five lawyers have donations in FEC records. They gave overwhelmingly to Democrats, totaling more than $53,000 since 1988. More than half of the donations came from just one of the lawyers, James Quarles, whom Mueller brought over from his old firm, WilmerHale.
Quarles has given nearly $33,000 to political campaigns over the years. He gave money to Democratic presidential candidates Michael Dukakis, Al Gore, John Kerry, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. In addition, Quarles gave more than $10,000 to help Democrats get elected to the House and another $10,000 on the Senate side, including money to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
But Quarles is also the only lawyer among Mueller's team for which records were available who ever donated to Republicans. He gave $2,500 to Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz in 2015 and gave $250 to then-Sen. George Allen of Virginia in 2005.
Only about 30% of the donations were for elections in 2016. But Quarles and Jeannie Rhee, who also left WilmerHale to work on the Russia probe, gave the maximum contribution of $2,700 to Clinton's campaign last year.
Rhee was the second-largest donor among Mueller's known team. Rhee has donated more than $16,000 since 2008, all to Democrats. She maxed out to the Clinton campaign in 2016 and 2015, totaling $5,400. She also gave a total of $7,300 to Obama's two presidential campaigns. She has already received attention for representing the Clinton Foundation in a racketeering lawsuit brought by a conservative advocacy group, and also represented Clinton herself in a lawsuit seeking access to her private emails."

First off Comey already testified that he leaked in order to get mueller in there.

The investigation is horse**** en toto just because of that...I feel silly that it even exists.

Second a nonpartisan investigation should be...nonpartisan.

Quite simple.

The law requires patience, something djt is fresh out of .

And you know this how ?

Per public testimony.

There were violations but they could not prove "intent"...In this case intent makes no difference whatsoever. Comey is off the reservation and not doing his job when making this decision.

Comey repeats that Lynch asked him to describe Clinton investigations as a ‘matter’

James B. Comey once again described his interactions with Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch and suggested that she tried to get the former FBI director to reshape characterizations of his agency’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

“Just call it a matter,” Lynch told Comey, he recalled under questioning by Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.).

Lankford asked why he didn’t push back on those requests, and Comey said he concluded, “This isn’t a hill worth dying on, and so I just said, ‘Okay.’ The press is going to completely ignore it – and that’s what happened.”

Sure enough, Comey said, news agencies described the FBI’s work as an investigation. But Lynch’s request “concerned me because that language tracked with how the campaign was talking about how the FBI was doing its work.”

“I don’t know whether it was intentional or not,” Comey added later, “but it gave the impression that the attorney general was trying to align how we describe our work” with how the Clinton campaign was talking about it."

Clear interference in an ongoing investigation aligning with a political party.

Are they following the existing evidence by testimony under oath? No.

So no. They are not following the law.

In August of last year, 72% of registered GOPs did not believe Obama was born in the USA.

Those are trump's people and his base .

When will you learn?. He doesn't deal well with facts.

Lynch has nothing to do with the current investigation s

When will you learn?. He doesn't deal well with facts.

Of all the trump warts, the 'birtherism is their base' is the toughest one for some trumposters to accept .

Yes. Because they are not interested in following testimony or evidence. That much is clear.

Lynch has nothing to do with the current investigations, she is not relevant to the current investigation, and anything about her is irrelevant unless some one shows that lynch was some how a Russian agent.

Democrats are to blame for trump's 21 weeks of twisted tweet storms and BOILs.

Blatant Outrageous Irrational Liar

Of course. Democrats and liberals are to blame for everything. Even the president they all voted for.

There are quite a few Republicans that don't consider Trump a Republican at all. The guy has switched parties at least seven times we know of. I don't thing Trump knows what he is. Percentage wise, there are 18% of all Republicans who view Trump unfavorably or in a negative light. 78% view Trump favorably or positive. Compare that to the 90% the Democrats gave Obama at this time during his first year in office.

Trump started out with an 8% approval rating from Democrats when he first entered office and it is still at 8% today. Republicans gave Obama a 46% approval rating when he first entered office and on 15 June that had dropped to 26%. A huge difference when compared to just 8% of Democrats. At least about half of all Republicans were willing to give Obama a chance. Not even a tenth of Democrats were willing to give Trump a chance.

Maybe because Trump is a terrible guy? You're assuming all things being equal other than party affiliation. Obama was a relative newcomer; Trump has spent 30+ years in the public eye of just being a total asshole.

It's OK with you that Comey's friend "Mueller" runs the investigation?

Please don't ever expect to be taken as rational..............................ok?

Rosenstein appointed Mueller. Do you think it was out of ignorance? All these intelligence guys know each other.

Where exactly are you going to find someone that isn't familiar, or even friends, with Comey who is qualified to run the investigation?

Of course. Democrats and liberals are to blame for everything. Even the president they all voted for.

As trump continues to try to consolidate his base with EOs, his trashing of Obama today over Cuba for the sake of it will hurt him and the GOP in Florida in the long run .

Who is they ?

Comeys friend and mentor. Opposition in the establishment on both sides. A large array of swamp creatures in general. The idealistic useful idiots as the russians say.

Word this Friday afternoon is that many observers in DC will not be surprised if Trump orchestrates the firing of Robert Muller to thwart the investigation which apparently is broadening and will look into Trump business concerns as well as obstruction of justice. A tweet this morning appeared to be setting the stage for this development which would be akin to the infamous Saturday Night Massacre of Watergate era fame.

A simple question: if that happens, will you then support impeachment of Trump by the House of Representatives?

Two clear choices --yes or no.

I support the impeachment of Trump because he is completely incompetent (along with a dozen ethics issues he possesses). He's incapable of being a worthy president of the US.

Thank you very much.... :usflag2:

You guys have created a twisted narrative for yourself where anyone with any experience is simply not to be trusted.

Just those proven untrustworthy.

Trust but verify.

1. I don't think you know what a "leak" is.
2. It is patently obvious that, given the firing of Comey and the impending firing of Mueller, that Trump has something he really does not want people to find out about.

Of course, in wingnut land, Trump is only stymieing these investigations into himself to save taxpayer money. I dunno, Trump supporters will believe anything.

He can't be impeached for exercising his rightful powers.

So you think a mentor should run an investigation where his longterm friend and protoge is involved?
Call in well known Clinton lawyers and supporters as the backbone of muellers team and no one will say anything?

Think it through. Credibility is the key to everything. Comey tossed his away when he leaked to the press to get his mentor appointed to oversee....whatever this is.....

I support law and order. If trump ever leaves that platform I will remain.

Nope. I am not a left wing loony who has it out for Trump. The investigation is nothing more than agenda driven by pathetic sore losers who are upset Clinton lost. The republicans were stupid for catering to the demands of pathetic sore loser and should have told the loser to either present the evidence or shut up.
