If you have a question and a thirst for direction, ask, I'll reply.

do you disagree with OP ? Why?

translation: I'm afraid to debateYa went a bit too far with this one. I'm onto you now.
Where you do not, obviously.
actually we are using todays definitions. Liberals of the day( 1776) wanted freedom from govt; today they want huge govt. Do you understand?
The government is massive because the country is massive. It takes govenment this size to run it.
.
so it's just the right size? Its cant be far bigger as Sanders and other communists want nor far smaller as Rand Paul and other libertarians want?? Isn't thinking fun?
"Smaller government" is a meaningless meme whose only function is to garner GOP votes.
If our Constitution made liberalism, in effect, illegal what should we do with them?
Let's keep in mind that democracy is not our strength since liberals get to vote too.
,Our strength is the Constitution which was intended to make big liberal magical govt illegal
Conservatives are the real Americans who believe in the principles of the Constitution.
Thus it is they who set Europe free from big liberal magical govt through two world wars and they who just set 1.4 billion Chinese free from big liberal magical govt uniting most of the world in a peaceful common ideology.
Oh, and there is no reason to acknowledge our faults (which are trivial in the big picture) to suit treasonous liberals who oppose everything for which our Founders and modern conservative Americans stand.
So what do we do with liberals who really don't belong here in the first place and who constantly interfere with our good works?
"do liberals really belong here."
Simply question: do liberals really belong here given that they disagree with the basic principles of America?
Are you challenged? Seriously?
odds are you are trolling and unaware of the ridiculousness of your query.
translation: I lack the ability to answer simple question.

Ever see a libertarian afraid to answer a question? What did you learn from your fear?
LOL,
God Bless.

?? they were liberals for very tiny govt just like modern conservatives. The meaning of the word changed but not the concept of limited govt or freedom . Do you understand?

liberals want Obamacare socialism, conservatives oppose for example!!
"Conservatives" overwhelmingly want Medicare (healthcare leaning socialism model,) Social Security (also rooted in socialism leans,) Farm Subsidies (which is protectionism and planned economics... not capitalism,) etc. all of which are not examples of being anti-socialism. "Conservatives" are also not about freedoms or liberty in any regard consistently looking for not just social standards but also infliction of massive domestic spying programs and regulation of anything critical of them and/or involved in information exchange on any level.
Spare us the nonsense, there is no such thing as a "Constitutional Conservative" anywhere in today's "Conservatism" ideology.

actually socialism is when govt owns major industries. Do you understand?
"Freedom" and "huge government" are loaded terms. What constitutes a "huge" government? Are you against the socialization of law enforcement? What about fire protection? Both of these things are socialized in America today, and I don't recall any well-known conservative politicians seriously advocating for privatizing police or fire departments in my lifetime. Do you think it would be a good idea to get the government out of the business of enforcing laws? What about aviation safety? Is government control over these things too much power?
I don't know a single liberal who wants the federal government to own all property and dictate their daily routines. I don't know a single conservative who wants the police to send them a massive bill when someone tries to break into their home. However, I do know many liberals who do not want hospitals to send them a massive bill when they have a heart attack.
In this light, the "liberal agenda" doesn't sound like a "huge government" to me. It sounds like it wants to get people who have the privilege of living in this country to chip in their fair share to take care of the less fortunate. People who don't want to pay their fair share don't sound much like American patriots to me. I think this is a case of you not understanding the spirit of what the Constitution of the U.S. stands for.
The term socialism has totally lost its meaning.
