I can't really fault anyone for not being as far down the rabbit hole as I am, but let's just say I disagree with the assessment that capitalism can stay properly regulated.

That is an issue and may always be a constant fight. People do love power, whether it comes from wealth or social power. Power corrupts.

Trump responded with "I would like you to do us a favor, though...".

When you find the part that says, I will only give you the money if you give me (X), and if you won't do (X) you don't get the money, give us all a call.

Your personal feelings of what a quid pro quo is, doesn't count. Your idea of what Trump said or meant, doesn't count.

Hence why you are still scuffling around week after week, month after month, year after year, with (Impeach 45) still empty handed, not even able to get an Impeachment vote.

It's supporting most of the working class grandparents in this nation through social security, and it's providing much of the civilized world with legitimately good healthcare through single payer systems. It even provided for one of the strongest periods in American history, via the strength of 50's era unions and New Deal safety nets. Everywhere outside of developing nations that would probably still be hellholes even if they were capitalist, socialism works great.

If their is evidence of corruption I think it should be looked into. I don't see a problem unless they start making accusations for several years in every newspaper and news outlet without any proof.
