Well, they have shown no backbone so far. They turned a blind eye to his misogyny, bigotry, fear mongering, nepotism...I think the only thing they pushed back on is some of his foreign policy decisions. It’s a fair question to ask if Senate Republicans would vote to convict him on anything.

Pelosi never called for his impeachment, so here latest statements are irrelevant. I don't like the woman at all, but she is a shrewd politician. It was political suicide for the GOP to impeach Clinton. She won't make that same mistake.

This is actually smart. Democrats are circling the drain right because of Ocasio-Cortez, Kamala, Oman, Booker, Bernie, etc, and this would only put 10 more nails in the coffin.

There was no Russian collusion, only Democrat conspiracy. This is about to come out. The young Democrats are emboldened, because the older Democrats, around in 2016, are about to be waist deep in mud. The new Democrats learned their lessons well during their indoctrination and feel it is time to act, since the older generation may have stepped in it.

The first installment of government records, that the finger the Democrats, is about to be released. The release will be composed of raw data, so the conclusion and admissions are harder to spin away.

Impeachment is being walked back, since this may make Trump more defensive and he may need to strike first; move faster, which the Democrats are trying to avoid. A slow trickle of data allows more time for spin. Trump's budget is not something that Democrats will normally accept But if it comes with protections from jail, he may get the votes.

Pelosi is playing this well....Trump is Publicly impeaching himself incrementally every day and trying it officially would fail with this Congress. She is instead focusing on her party beating him in 2020 and then letting his many legal issues do what they will do.
