What is this? Does God promise us a life as new born babies?

Depends which god you ascribe to.

Well actually, most animal life goes to feed predators or scavengers. Ultimately it goes to bacteria (a part of compost) but why would you ignore the lives along the way? Particularly when it includes humans (the ultimate predators)?

I only compost vegetable matter, to keep scavengers from tearing it up in search of meat scraps, I would rather be buried deep enough to avoid scavengers & yeah, feed a fruit tree.
