At least Deuce was bright enough to ask a question, receive the answer and then tuck and run.. You.. Not so much.. LOL
Tim-
Another attack but yet no facts that support your claims, oooops
please let us know the part of the bill that factually:
Threatens women's sports
Threatens Women's shelters
Threaten womans Schools
Silences female athletes
Silences domestic abuse survivors
Gives men the right to enter any women's only or girl's only facility at will
Gives men the right if they are a girls junior high school basketball coach to enter the girls locker room, watch 11 and 12 year old girls shower and the school not only couldn't fire him and would be absolutely helpless to stop him from doing this
Gives men the right to compete in women's sport
Exploits and endangers women
weaponizes gender identity
thanks!

Its a shame that things are so partisan that this will be shot down in the senate or by Trump himself but at least its being tried and rightfully so. Good Job!!!
Regardless full and equal civil rights protections for LGBT will happen in my life time and its an awesome thing equality is winning and bigotry is dying.
what is the equality act?
Equality Act (United States) - Wikipedia
I'll buy into this as soon as racial identity becomes protected.
Not in all states, only in those that recognize sexual orientation as a protected class.
Here in WA St., where that is a protected class, a high school teacher/coach was fired from a private Catholic school for being gay.
Court greenlights fired gay teacher's lawsuit against Catholic school | National Catholic Reporter
I cant find at this point if it was upheld or not. It was on the news alot and I think the teacher may have dropped it.
Here's a more recent case that bears watching:
This Catholic school was right to fire a gay teacher who got married
well if you are around my age the reality is its going to happen in our lifetime so you dont really need to buy into it and race is already protected
I guess I am as liberal as they come, but I cannot get behind this bill as is.
It is almost as if they designed a bill to make a political point knowing full well it is probably dead on arrival in the Senate, let alone making it past the President’s desk.
Don’t get me wrong, there are aspects of the bill that make sense in terms of job protections and so forth along the lines of the Civil Rights act it attempts to amend. But Democrats may have taken it too far and that discounts the very group they claim they are trying to protect.
The whole thing may just end up a campaign stunt, and that further does a disservice to the LGBT community.
Not race, racial identity. We should have the freedom to live the racial identity we wish, and get all the benefits from that race. Bruce Jenner benefits from womanhood, and so it should be for transracials.
What due tell is the factual medical definition of a transracial?
opcorn2:
so the majority of people according to claims here
so sex was never included or tried in anything like this or talk about before now? its JUST because of transgender . . .which by the way isnt "sex"?
Yeah, this is going to get interesting. It warrants an open conversation of what this all means, but I doubt that's going to happen in the Zero Sum Game era. There is something to be said about women's sports (and other areas) where biological advantages can stifle the progress women have made.
People should be free to choose their own race. Certain social benefits are afforded depending on the race one chooses. I want to be smart at math so I want to identify as Asian. Others may want to identify as black so they don't have to rise to the expectations of white people. A white person may want to identify as another race to avoid the ire of the democrats.
I realize that race is considered concrete and genetic. If this is the case, and we can't choose our race, then we need some form of official racial determination so people don't commit the crime of misrepresenting their race. For example, if I want to avoid blame by the democrats and say I'm longer white, the democrats should have some kind of recourse - they could demand a genetic or morphological test of me, say at an official governmental Race Center. There, the true level of my whiteness would be determined.
I could also say I'm black on a college application. I could show up with various features that may appear outwardly black, like Rachael Dolezal. Since race is so vital to as to which Americans deserve which treatment, we need racial ID cards or some other proof of our exact racial makeup. Only in this manner will true racial justice be served.
Some states have enacted their own laws. I WAS REFERRING to the FEDERAL law that is the topic of discussion. The federal public accomodation laws dont include sex as one of the favorite classifications of people.
SEC. 201. (a) All persons shall be entitled to the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, and privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodation, as defined in this section, without discrimination or segregation on the ground of race, color, religion, or national origin.
Ill ask you again since you didnt answer my question in any of that nonsense you posted
What due tell is the factual medical definition of a transracial? thanks!
There is no definition medically.

oh ok so you made it up and its factually meaningless to the topic . . got it, thanks for playing! lol
WTF do they need protections for, the practically run all the restrooms now.
and I'll answer again
FEDERAL Public Accomodation Laws have never included prohibitions against discrimination on the basis of sex. And never presented a problem. But now
(a) Findings.—Congress finds the following:
(1) Discrimination can occur on the basis of the sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or pregnancy, childbirth, or a related medical condition of an individual, as well as because of sex-based stereotypes. Each of these factors alone can serve as the basis for discrimination, and each is a form of sex discrimination.
all of a sudden we need to stamp out sex discrimination in public accomodations, when in fact, as the title of the thread indicates, the only concern is the LGBTers.
There is no medical or legal definition of "Gender Identity" so not sure of your point.
nothing you posted answers my question . . NOTHING
And answeredIll ask you AGAIN, so sex was never included or tried in anything like this or talk about before now?
Some states have enacted their own laws [ that "included" sex, so we can presume before they "tried" "anything like this" there was "talk about before now"]. I WAS REFERRING to the FEDERAL law that is the topic of discussion. .
