uh no you are being dishonest. I don't care about limiting our rights to pretend it will stop suicides. I had an uncle that shot himself: his sister (my mother) and his parents didn't become gun banners as a result

I said suicides have a lower priority than crime control with me. I suspect most people feel that way.

Real gun control is done by the person holding the gun. That is why none of my guns have ever hurt or killed anyone. The fact that I have owned over 50 at one time, bought ammo in bulk, and shot 100's of thousands of rounds from those guns with high capacity magazines does not make a difference. There are over 100 million gun owners out there who will never shoot anyone. Your power trip of gun control will not stop the insane, the depressed, the vengeful, the hateful, or the depressed from killing comical at best. Texas and Florida have tried to use the death penalty as a deterrent without any success. If the death penalty cannot deter killings your silly gun control laws are useless at best.

If you feel you have an issue and need to do better, that means you understand your limitations. I respect a man that understands his limitations. However, you need to understand that not everyone has your limitations and respect that in return.

Doesn't matter. The solution to suicides is different than the solution to homicides. By your logic, we should treat surgery deaths the same way as those killed in WW2. Are either less dead?
