Getaway driver arrested after 3 suspects are shot to death in Wagoner Co. home invasion | KOKH

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (KTUL) -- One person is in custody after three suspects in a Wagoner County home invasion were shot to death Monday afternoon by one of the residents.
According to the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office, the suspects' getaway driver has been arrested. The 21-year-old woman turned herself in at the Broken Arrow Police Department hours after the shooting, saying she had information. Wagoner County investigators interviewed her at the police department and subsequently arrested her.

Perps all 16-18 years of age, all now 6 feet under. Give this man a medal.

Moral of the story: don't go robbing other people's houses. Probably not a good idea.

Still amazes me that home invasions are still a thing in the U.S. You do not know who owns a firearm. Why risk it? The anti gun nuts that want guns to be banned obviously feel an intruder has the right to a "fight to the death" scenario.

Especially not a southern state where we take self defense seriously. I promise you, someone breaks into my home, I have my 12 gauge at the ready, a mix of buck shot and slugs in a box. I'm not picky which form of lead poisoning you die from.

gun banners are often the same people who enable and make excuses for criminals. To many gun banners, society causes those poor dears to take up a life of crime and its blatantly unfair to punish them by having some intended robbery or rape victim blow them away. Gun control is a facade criminal coddlers use to pretend they are actually doing something about stopping crime without doing anything that harms their beloved criminal perpetrators

have the usual comments from the parents of the deceased come out yet-

"they were good kids"

"they really weren't going to cause any harm"

"its unfair that they were shot-the guy who shot them shouldn't have had a rifle"

You also won't hear anyone mention defensive use of an AR.

Still waiting for such. Here's the getaway driver.

I guess a lot of people here never did anything stupid when they were young or didn't have to pay for it with their lives.

I did lots of stupid stuff as a kid (and as an adult) but none of it involved breaking into someone else's house with the intention of taking their stuff.

That is exactly the point of the research done for the Carter administration by Wright and Rossi. Still not released in full by government. It's the deterrence effect gun control advocates claim does not exist. Yet in England home invasions and burglary while the occupants are at home s the normal way criminals operate. What have they got to fear? Criminals have victims that come with a government backed guarantee of being disarmed.

I never broke into a house armed with a knife or brass knuckles, true.

I wouldn't give them a medal, the taking of human life is always sad. But the homeowners seem (at least by the information thus far presented) to be completely justified in their actions. Don't break in to people's homes. Doesn't seem to be that hard of a principle.

Yeah, I did lots of stupid stuff. Illegal stuff too. And if these guys had been shot for shoplifting some candy or spray painting a water tower I would be yelling excessive force.

But this was home invasion.

Never anything that would warrant pointing a gun at me no. In fact, no one who paid with their lives is still around to remind you that its a bad idea to give people a reason to defend their homes.

Of course the likes of you would show up to defend these criminal scum, but wait... you forgot to argue against our freedom to defend ourselves from said scum.

These young men chose to break into a home, armed with weapons on which to do harm to the home's occupants. They paid the just price for their mistake.

this situation is very different from public carry
that AR15 was a weapon maintained at the home
for self defense of his home, i do not care if he had a howitzer
carrying hand guns into the public domain; totally different

did all kinds of crazy stuff
but no action would result in the theft from another, or attack on another

that makes a fair point though I do believe licensed individuals should be able to carry on the streets

but I often hear that Police need to be able to carry fully automatic rifles since they have a duty to chase after criminals and you and I do not. And I say ok-police officers' duties given them powers you and I don't have such as to have a loaded rifle on the dashboard of their car or carry in courts or police stations. And I get that. but those arguments are worthless for saying that you or I should not be able to own a select fire rifle for home defense even if we cannot carry it loaded on the front seat of our car.
