If you're not a good feminist, then you're not a feminist.

I'm not a feminist as that would imply I think men and women are equal. In reality, women are far better than men.

Someone who puts "good" and "bad" in the title of a concept does not deserve to be taken seriously.

As for feminism, if a tree is rotten, cut it down. It's rather unlikely that mainstream feminism circa 1970 or whenever was the truth about relations between the sexes. If feminism today is bad, it was most likely bad from the beginning.

Good and bad are value judgements, and I cannot give two ****s for what value judgement some random guy on the internets makes.

I would rather spend time with a feminist than Phyllis Schlafly.

Maybe you should do a bit of reading up on "feminism circa 1970 or whenever" if you are drawing the conclusions that if it's bad now, it was bad in the beginning.

I'm familiar with the history of feminism. The essential claim of feminism, in any of its iterations, is that woman are an oppressed class that need to be liberated. In my view, this idea was as vicious in essence in 1970 or 1870 as it is today. Though of course its practical harm has been cumulative with time.

The essential claim of feminism is that women should have equal rights to men. One as learned in history as you is surely aware that women could once neither vote nor hold property separate from her husband's. If that doesn't qualify as oppression then I don't know what does.

Most people throughout history had no right to vote and no conception of practical equality (in either law or fact). If the absence of these innovations is "oppression" then the term is meaningless.

Or take out a loan or earn dollar for dollar either.

In America, the only country that matters, we have always had the right to vote, and to own property. Unless you're a woman, of course.

Most human beings did not live in America. Were they all oppressed?

Nor did most American men have suffrage rights at the time of the founding.

Well he's pointing out toxic Feminism verses egalitarianism.
Dude, just stop with the educated like stuff that you are talking about... we don't need it.

Only men can be sexist.

all third wave feminists are bad, if you identify yourself as a "feminist", bad

I think the concept of feminism is simply outdated. We can see this in things such as third or fourth wave feminism that's really just trying to big women in to damsels that have no agency of Their own. Basically I'm doing first and second wave feminism.

If women are equal they should be treated equally. Is there a weak it should be treated differently like the way we treat children.

The idea that feminism is necessary expresses that women can't do anything without it.

I happen to disagree I know a lot of strong intelligent women that I admire. And they don't need feminism.

no one needs feminism, it has brought untold disaster on western society

I think it served its purpose in the past. More now it seems its purpose is to undo what it did in the past. I to consider that a disaster for Western society.

it did not serve its purpose,it was a product of the society at the time, the founding fathers didnt let women vote cause women didnt need to vote, it didnt concern them at that time, but WW1 happened

This is all beside the point. All feminism does now is fight paper tigers. They're protecting their abortion rights. I don't think that's going to go anywhere. Supreme Court justices don't want to take it on.
What the pro-life activism should be focused on is offering women non-abortion choices.

This infuriates the pro-abortion people. They are fundamentally separate from the pro-choice people. Pro-choice would support choices not to abort.

But that's all feminism is about these days protecting something that isn't going anywhere

I agree on the pro-life stuff

feminism was fought back because of the internet, without the brave anti-sjw warriors, I dont know where we would be
