Now that the poor man is finally at rest, I figured I should post this:

So to translate, the media treated John Mc Cain as they do any other Republican - like ****. They posted much more negative news that positive, and never held back their criticism. I won't even digress into Sarah Palin's treatment.
The media and the politicians that treated McCain like dirt when he was alive, lionized him in death.
The whole media show was Stormy Daniels without the tits. One big church full of "whores and and the men who love them", back slapping, ass kissing, self indulgent, opportunistic **** show to show America that the sooner the old guard is gone, the better.
The only person who had a dog in the fight was Megan McCain. The rest of them were noting more than media pimps reading poll tested, professionally produced speeches trying to buff up their 2020 resumes.
I heard the casket was moving, because McCain rolling over in at 500 RPM. They miss him because they can't torture him any longer.

It sure was nice to turn on the “Sunday shows” and finally get away from all the politics of this weekend’s funerals.
Listening to failed politicians hijack the funerals of two such respected American heroes as John McCain and Aretha Franklin so they could smear the sitting president really tells you all you need to know about those washed-up has-beens.
It was particularly strange to listen to all these rabid enemies of McCain in life heaping praise on him in death.
McCain was a rare genuine battle hero in American politics; but American politics treated him badly. During his presidential campaign against then-Sen. Barack Obama, McCain was slimed as a racist. During his campaign against then-Gov. George W. Bush, he endured sneaky robocalls accusing him of having an illegitimate black child.
Hard to see how both could be possible. But when it comes to low-down, dirty, dishonest gutter politics in America, nothing is out of bounds.

Here's a flashback, courtesy of Pew Research, from the final weeks of the 2008 campaign in terms of the kind of media coverage the Republican presidential nominee received in his race against then-Sen. Barack Obama. Just 14 percent of coverage of McCain was positive from the Republican National Convention that ended on Sept. 4 through the final presidential debate on Oct. 15; 57 percent was negative. Translation: McCain's coverage was negative over positive by a 4-to-1 ratio.
Compare that to coverage of Obama, who received 36 percent of coverage than was positive, and 35 percent that was neutral or mixed, according to the study. Just 29 percent of coverage was negative — about half that of McCain's.
