Hundreds of passenger planes had to be diverted as waves of flying bombs converged on the Russian capital.Ukraine has stepped up assaults since Donald Trump reportedly told Ukrainian president Volodymr Zelensky it was time to make Russians feel “the pain” of war.

Russia's defence ministry claimed to have downed 93 Ukrainian drones overnight across nine regions - 19 of them over the Moscow area alone.

Authorities were forced to twice close airspace over Moscow, hitting airports Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky.

A total of 134 planes were diverted
Ukrainian drone technology has markedly increased since the beginning of the war with these machines able to navigate all the way to Moscow. This is through jamming, anti-drone fire, etc. On top of this, this is largely homegrown technology that often isn't dependent on US weapon systems.

This is just a picture of what the future of war will look like with autonomous systems.

Yeah, it looks like a 'testing ground' for the warmongers to advance technology for future warfare, to find and be heavily involved in future of money generating war profits. Always more advanced methods of killing each other and the heavily profitable ventures that go along. War and death have always generated huge profits and wealth.

Watched one podcast on the military industrial complex and now you've got the script huh?

24 hours……

As Putin, and his drunken incompetent Kremlin generals, scramble to save what left of their air power, all airports have become legitimate military targets. No exceptions. Don't be surprised to hear that Zelenskyy has begun targeting the Donskoye and Chkalovsk airfields in Kaliningrad, too. He knows Putin's planes can overfly Belarus with impunity, and Zelenskyy can't afford to leave anything to chance. Poland might gladly give Ukraine access to their airspace, if they think he can shut down mad Vlad's plans.

Ukrainian? think again.

more like they are the Puppets using this Nato tech to blast away at the russians: start there friends.

after that, we get 50 days before the Fireworks start world wide, get your affairs in order and start digging deep....

WP: 50 days away from Trump gives Putin a strategic advantage
The American press is trying to figure out what exactly those 50 days that Trump “sent” to Russia as a “final warning” give. At first, Western media was seized with euphoria due to the fact that “now Russia will definitely pay.” Then the euphoria gave way to despondency and irritation. At least in the Washington Post.

The American journalists' article states that "Trump's 50 days give Putin a strategic advantage":

This is through jamming, anti-drone fire, etc. On top of this, this is largely homegrown technology that often isn't dependent on US weapon systems.

home grown like garden tomatoes. groan.

think deeper.

no, this is all Old Skool; future war will be Shock and Awe on a scale that you can't imagine.

blessings, start digging.

TRUTH: The longer a war continues the more peace will make sense.

Unless your name is Putin, for whom 'Pravda' refers to ye olde school Soviet newspaper.

It isn't only arms manufacturers making a killing in Ukraine. US private equity vultures are already circling Kiev's carcass:

https://mronline.org/2024/12/24/u-s-corporate-land-grab-in-ukraine-underlies-war-with-russia/

"In early November, (2024) Barbara Bonte, a Belgian member of the European Union (EU) parliament, raised concern about the sell-off of Ukrainian land on a massive scale to U.S. private equity firms along with some Saudi agro-industrial and investment businesses."

BlackRock is in the forefront of profiting from the competition to find the last Ukrainian willing to die for regime change in Moscow by investing in defense contractors and Ukrainian real estate.

What's not to love about a war that produces profits from the destruction and rebuilding of Ukraine?

Good for Ukraine, time to return the favor for all the chaos Russia has caused.

I had that feeling about the Falkland Islands war. I bet France sold a lot of Exocet missiles after that trade fair.

You have forgotten his prediction of an utter quick destruction of the Ukraine fighter's will to fight. He is in trouble with his people. Putin like Lizard Eyes Trump will make any sacrifice of human life to protect his demented ego.

Yeah, down with the warmongers! Down with the dictator! Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦

Maybe the way to solve this particular problem is for Ukraine to allow Russia to conquer their nation and move in eh?

Westward NATO expansion......who are the involved parties?

This is turning into the Spanish Civil War where advancements in military tech are tested.

Trump actually encourages escalating the war by Z? So much for his "peacemaker" bullshit/ He's too erratic - stumbling into that war

First full scale drone war was Libya civil war after the Qadaffi murder. It was amazing . Autonomous warfare can be sold as "bloodless"

  • The conflict saw widespread use of Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 drones by the GNA and Chinese Wing Loong drones by the LNA.
  • A UN report indicates that Turkish-made drones, including the Kargu-2, loitering munitions capable of operating autonomously, were used to "hunt down and remotely engage" tanks and other vehicles belonging to LNA forces.
  • Some sources suggest the Kargu-2 may have been the first autonomous weapon system to be used to kill people on the battlefield, though the UN report itself does not definitively confirm this.
  • The effectiveness of drones against tanks was documented, with reports of numerous tanks being destroyed or rendered irreparable by drone attacks.
