Florida school shooting suspect is a white nationalist, group leader says

The fact that white nationalists, a blatantly racist group, is a "side" politically is sickening.

This kid had white power preaching violence in his ear constantly and then went out and killed people. There is a connection.

There is no doubt he is insane. Sane people don't commit these types of acts. However that doesn't excuse these white power groups that help encourage this crap.
I find the type of hate being preached by the left equally as sickening. There is nothing that indicates that this crime was racially motivated and if it was how do you explain all the white people who were killed and wounded?

Well if they are then I’ll have let our lesbian friends know since we all play cards each weekend and attend school functions since the kids our lesbian friends are raising and theirs are in the same grade and extracurricular activities
You're making that part up. Just admit it

Nope, sorry. I know that goes against your bigotry, but don't really give a ****. You really ought to get out more and actually SEE people instead of just generalizing them.

Says the man who has 13.51 posts a day, and you're telling me to get out more?? :lamo

I guarantee you almost nobody believes your muslim/lesbian friendship story. But keep going, its highly amusing

I don’t give a **** what you believe. I just correct your bigoted comments. Have fun with your hatred.

yet when each and every one of the last savages that committe these horrific acts have been shown to be a democrat, it's not a big deal to these clowns.

Are you saying the ideology is more important than the deed? 'Cause that's what I'm getting from you.

Hmm.......it seems ideology is more important than the deed to some people.....even when it's not the person's actual ideology.

We were discussing the religion in general. Now you want to switch to just the American version of Islam??
You realize they all still read from the same book dont you??

By your own logic, American Christians are just as guilty as the Lord's Resistance Army for the atrocities committed because they "all read from the same book".

I have a problem with religions in general. You can find plenty of hateful stuff in the Bible as well.
And there are plenty of Christian hate-preachers around also. And yes I do lump them in with extremists

And then you would have to lump in all atheists with groups like the Khmer Rouge, or the KGB, because they supposedly think the same things. It’s simply not a realistic or logical idea to blame people who have done nothing wrong for the actions of a nasty minority

If an atheist spews hate against religious people, and he/she encourages violence against them (or turns a blind eye to it), then yes I am still lumping them in with the Khmer Rouge or the KGB.

I'm sorry you cant have it both ways. You are either for positivity, or you are in bed with negativity

And this, folks, is why you don't ever jump onto juicy story details early after an attack or incident like this. No matter what your political viewpoint - more often than not your leaping onto the thing that agrees with your worldview will end up embarassing you when it comes out as incorrect or fake. I remember many people posting about the Charleston guy who ran over the woman at the white supremacist rally, claiming he was a liberal antifa person, all based on using a name and not bothering to check if it was the actual person (a simple look at the license plate could have shown it was not him), which led to hordes of death threats and internet-wide slandering of an innocent person who wasn't even near South Carolina at the time. Learn from the past, folks.

Yes, exactly. Especially when there were so many red flags from the get-go. You expect some of the posters on this forum to jump to conclusions, but it just boggles the mind that professional AP reporters were presenting it as fact - all based off of a couple of phone calls with some random white supremacist guy who contacted the Anti-Defamation League, of all places, to break the "news."

So some Stormfront dude went out and killed a bunch of white people because he was racist?

Fascinating.

Did anyone see this story on Politico today?

How white nationalists fooled the media about Florida shooter
ABC, AP and others ran with false information on shooter’s ties to extremist groups.

Based on the fact that nobody has mentioned it on this thread, I'd say the answer is "no".

Just so we are all aware of what we are discussing.

Just so we know a little more about him since so many are trying to play dumb about it all...

Group chat messages show school shooter obsessed with race, violence and guns

In a private Instagram group chat, confessed school shooter Nikolas Cruz repeatedly espoused racist, homophobic and anti-Semitic views and displayed an obsession with violence and guns.

Most of the conversation in the group since Cruz joined around August 2017 is between six people -- including Cruz.

"I hate jews, ni**ers, immigrants"

Racism was a constant theme in the chat group, which was called "Murica (American flag emoji) (eagle emoji) great" -- a name it was given by Cruz.
The hatred he and others in the group espoused met little resistance from its active members. In one part of the group chat, Cruz wrote that he hated, "jews, ni**ers, immigrants."

He talked about killing Mexicans, keeping black people in chains and cutting their necks. The statements were not made in jest.

Cruz said he hated black people simply because they were black; Cruz hated Jews because he believed they wanted to destroy the world.
After one member expressed hatred for gay people, Cruz agreed, saying, "Shoot them in the back of head."

White women drew Cruz's hatred as well, specifically those in interracial relationships, whom he referred to repeatedly as traitors.

But you don't lump the average church goer in with the extremists.

I do if they support extremists ideas. Especially if they donate to churches that are extremist.
Thats like feeding evil in a way.

Guys like Osteen are fairly positive and those churchgoers I mostly dont lump in with extremism

Muslims, on the other hand, should all be kept out of the country.
