Ronaldo is a great player, but with one outstanding player and the rest so-so players you will not win the champions league. When with Real Ronaldo had a group of also talented midfielders/attackers and a good defence, now the Juventus midfield was not up to the challenge and the defenders looked at times like they were in a different time zone to the Ajax players.

Without some more investments into younger defenders and more creative midfielders, I don't see Juve winning next years CL either.
Juventus have an aging squad and will need to rebuild it indeed. This is especially true for their defence as Barzagli is simply too slow and too old to even be considered an alternative anymore and Bonucci just looks disoriented on the field, especially when he plays next to the hoax Rugani. Chiellini needs company.

Cancelo, Spinazzola and Sandro are actually worldclass fullbacks, but De Sciglio has to leave.

Their midfield still holds a high class, imo and with Dybala and Moise Kean in attack, their future is not at all that dark.

Obviously, I do not think they will win the UCL anytime soon and I also hope they never will as that is the only thing that keeps me (Milanista) alive these days. :D

Inter or AC?

Big question for Manchester United fans - would you rather beat City and let Liverpool win the PL or lose to hated city rivals just to stop Liverpool winning their first PL.

Hilarious answers.

City won the title today
Most likely but still 3 games to go. City has been good against the big boys but have stumbled against smaller clubs this season, so we shall see.

As a Liverpool Fan, that makes me happy

The haircut one was the best when they said they would rather have a terrible haircut for a year than have Liverpool win. Some of them need to take a look in the mirror. Their haircuts are actually already crap!

As a side note;

I've lost count of the times I've checked on this thread, feeling pretty happy about how my boys are going and yet still silently hoping to see Andy sticking his chest out and talking the talk because his boys are doing a little better.

I hope he is okay. Absolute legend that man and I do miss seeing him here, terribly.

Is he OK? have I missed some news? I would have thought this season would have brought him out- 2 games to go and Man City have the title in their hands.

I don't have any news I'm sorry. I just know that Andy hasn't been online here for 7 months now, which is a little unusual.

Andy? Isn’t he a mod? Don’t you folk talk amongst yourselves?

If the Finale will be Barca against Ajax, that will be a thrilling thing to watch.

Careful there, don't jinx it. Tottenham has the people who can turn the tie around... Ajax are not in the final yet nor are Barca..

But normally Ajax are better in the second match. Sure until now it was away but I am sure with 50,000 enthusiastic fans behind them they will rise to the occasion.

Yea buy all it takes is an injury or red card and it can all fall apart. I pray Ajax do it.

Yes, but if Ajax plays like they did the first half hour, it is more likely their opponents will either be a second too late with a tackle and get carded than it will be Ajax that will make the fouls.

Son will be back for Spurs.. Could be a major factor as Spurs lacked speed in the first game. We shall see on Wednesday.

Son however will still be lacking game experience/practice/rhythm which he COULD have gotten by playing the full match today. But he won't be because he was handed a red card for pushing someone who stood on his foot. Not smart and if he is that easily provoked, one worries what he will do against Ajax.

Spurs facing plucky Bournemouth ATM still 0-0 after 25 mins. Not quite the same AFCB
