Does anyone actually believe Trump's "correction" of when he says misspoke?

Re: Does anyone actually believe Trump's "correction" of when he says misspoke?

When that is your entire argument, you don't have one.
I already gave my position. Trump has done a decent job managing things. The chicken little crowd is losing their minds over it.

If you mean managing his business interests...he has done a smashing job of using the office of the Presidency to turn a buck. Other than that...not so much.

Absolutely.

Well that is interesting because his so called "misstatement" which was not actually a misstatement fit perfectly into the entire rest of his appearance. The walk back is not the outlier. the walk back sticks out like a sore thumb. Then again, i have to keep these walk backs straight because we are on to the 4th one of the day and its only a little after 6:00 Eastern. Trump still has Carlson and Hannity to go. So we will likely be on to walk back 5 by 9:00pm.

Here I will make it easier for you:
- The entirely too deep corp tax cuts. Should have stopped at 26%. Cost us $600B dollars that could have gone to infrastructure
- which reminds me, infrastructure...would have best bang for the buck to actually improve the economy instead of just have a hot flash
- the cultural war that Trump simply encourages from the WH. No President have ever done that before. Though you folks think Obama did just standing there!
- the tariffs....by the time that mess is over that is all people will have to say "the tariffs"
- aa a sidenote his insistence on using national security as a rational for the tariffs...laughable
- Trumps insistance on using illegal immigration policy reform as a road to legal immigration reform that is just absurd, draconian and not in the best interests of the country
- Trumps inability to understand and perform the functions and duties of the Chief Executive, witnessed again and in full bloom at Helsinki
- his laughably naive and dangerous takes on NATO including comments that are just dangerous as heck...like wanting countries to increase their defense budgets now to 4% of GDP which would remilitarize Europe, about the dumbest thing we could do
- his misread of how NATO works ala' Trump's comments today about having to defend Montenegro should it be an aggressor. No NATO country has to defend a member that is an aggressor
- His complete inability to recognize his duties as Chief Executive when meeting the head of state of a foreign power
- the emoluments issues which will nail him in due time
- the farce in Singapore
- the embarrassing farce of the uber-corrupt and or idiotic Scott Pruitt, Devos, Carson, Zenke

I could keep going. But I think you are using a smartphone.

Good one :)

I don't think even the Trump supporters believe him.

You're right.
I don't care though because he will always beat the alternative; Hillary Clinton.
Like he's the first president who ever told a whopper.

If only his lying were the worst thing about Trump. But its not..by a long, wide margin though now he is running his credibility way in the red.

So thats a A.yes

Why won't you answer the question? It's a very simple question.

There was a guy the other day that called for the military to basically remove trump from office via military coup.
2 minutes later he retracted it. Do you believe him?

Greetings, Holbritter. :2wave:

"Military Coup?" Oh H*** NO! Sheesh!

That's impossible,without assassination.

There will have to be more clean up on Thursday as MSM is having a field day with the last questions asked of Trump today at the press splash. Not only did Trump say No to the question regarding whether Russia is still meddling in our Elections, he said No twice! So Sara goes out to today's actual press briefing with a story more absurd than the misspoke story which after tonight's MSM pieces has just been destroyed. I don't know if they will throw Sara to the sharks tomorrow or throw Raj out there. But this was worse than the misspoke mess and they STILL are not out of the woods by a long shot.

Sounds like a conservatroll whining about irrlevances, uncaring about accuracy.

I just ask if you wanted to debate with facts! Then you start saying I’m trolling, whining, and I wanna debate with facts and you say I’m uncaring about accuracy?
This shows liberals have totally lost it!

The congressman's name is Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn. He's the same crazy that wished he could give disgraced FBI agent,Peter Strzok a purple heart

Re: Does anyone actually believe Trump's "correction" of when he says misspoke?

Back away from the edge, it's gonna be ok.

1. I have never said Clinton would of been a terrible president. I think she would of been more of the same. Trump I'm represented something better.

2. Trade negotiations has people understandably nervous. I think they are long overdue. We have been voluntarily surrendering our economic power to the rest of the world and have gotten very little benefit or live for doing it. I have no problem with reclaiming some of that power back.

3. Tax cuts are not done. Part 2 is coming and it's aimed at the middle class. It had to be done this way because of the CBO scoring system.

4.defict complaints are valid but he has the economic growth out pacing what he is spending. I'm thinking he is gonna see 5% growth before his 1st term is over and I won't be completely in shock if he hits 6%. This economy has not peaked.

5. Obama left him a stable economy. I give him credit for that. He used a bunch of fiat money to do it but he kept us stable. He deserves credit for that. Trump deserves credit for what he has done to it too. Obama improved what he got and trump improved what he got. I give them both credit.

6. Wages I think your jumping the shark on. Growth is coming once all the people on the sideline comeback. Wages are going to be forced to rise and we are going to be forced to bring in visa workers or increase outsourcing

7. I'm not an expert on environmental policy I think their is a happy medium between staunch environmentalists and wreck less industrialists. Hopefully we are getting into that sweet spot but I'm really not enough of an expert to say one way or the other.

8. Geopolitics
I can care less about being the cool rich kid on the block who pays for the keggers. Let them pay their own way.

Tried to hit everything but that was a hell of a laundry list you gave me. Hey but in all insincerity, nice post. We disagree but you laid you case out nicely.

We haven't had trade negotiations, we have had tariffs imposed, not only on China, but on our allies. Maybe would have been better to get together with our allies and present a united front to China. Tax cuts, they will start to hurt the middles class as soon as 2020 and will get worse. Obama took over when the country was in free fall, as most people said, almost a depression and built an economy that was creating new jobs for over 90 months. In fact the last year of Obama's presidency job creation was better than the first year of Trump's presidency. Wonder what would have happened if trump had gotten the economy Obama did, do not want to think about it. As far as wages, well the Corporate tax cut was supposed to increase wages and they have gone down. Why, because the corporations have used the tax cut for buying back stock, CEO wage increases and stock dividends. None will ever go to wage earners until corporations are forced to. I am old enough to remember when you couldn't fish in the local river it was so polluted. The water is finally clean enough and now we are going backwards. Hell, most GOPers don't even believe in global warming. And by making ourselves both the enemy instead of the ally and not to be trusted, the next time we need help we will be like the boy who cried wolf, it will fall on deaf ears. And not only does that hurt our ability to protect ourselves, it will hurt us economically. Remember, much of what we have learned about what the Russian did came from our allies. That won't be happening in the future if something isn't done.

You asked for a list. Now you have a list. You only asked for a list of my grievances with trump...that is at least a partial list.

Oh by the way....US Intelligence apparently has now truly had it. Trump has another gift waiting for him in the morning. Though I doubt he will consider it a gift.

Hi Polgara :)

That is some pretty scary stuff right there! Thankfully, it's only one person voicing that (I'm sure others are 'thinking' it).

This has been an interesting episode of THE TRUMP SHOW, these last few days watching Trump make all of these twists and turns in his story about how he feels about Russia, generating outrage with the FAILED INTELLIGENTSIA! as he goes.

I asked you for an explanation not a list.

You wanted a list of my complaints concerns ...there it is. By the way you disappeared off the site as soon as you asked. So I really don't know what you were after...and just for record I could care less what category you put my concerns into nor whether you understand what they are founded in.
