My opinion of going to the moon has nothing to do with the gender of the people potentially going there.
Do you support the goal of putting the first woman astronaut on the moon?
Im all for it. I heard from Nasa plans to make it a longer trip too.

I totally do. It’s really kind of amazing we haven’t landed on the moon in so long and, let’s face it, that has fueled some of the conspiracy theories about moon landings being hoaxes. We have much better technology now to document a moon landing and why not secure another spot in history for being the first and maybe only nation to put a women on the moon?
Attaching poll.
You wanna go to the moon because of crazy conspiracy people?
Why not just buy a telescope. We left stuff on the moon.
The moon is pretty much the same distance that it has been for the last 40 years...
Umm..... ok? Thats rather random.. i meant longer time on the moon

Women can barely drive a car and you want to let them try to fly a spaceship? What the ****?
Stupid statement, if we are talking about actually flying - some of the best fighter pilots are women and the odds are when you fly commercial airlines your pilot may be a woman. I am a pilot and I have no problem with a woman at the controls. You do not "fly" a "spaceship" in the terms you are thinking in.
I do not understand that this would even be a question. Am I missing something?
Yes, I fully support it. In fact, I have contacted NSA and recommended they consider my ex-mother-in-law. I explained that going to the moon for an extended period has been her lifelong dream. I told them that she is a humble woman and that no matter how vigorously she might protest she really wants to go.

Because gender is not an achievement. I agree that we should reboot our space program, moon landings as part of a larger goal of space exploration. Certainly as more astronauts reach the moon (and elsewhere), some of them will be women. Making the astronaut's gender the goal, however, is neither wise, moral nor praiseworthy.Do you support the goal of putting the first woman astronaut on the moon?

It kinda matters when people were previously barred from entering the field. Shows others can do it too..

When was the last time a women was barred from the field. That would be 56 years ago. The first women in space was 1963.
Amelia Earhart flew a plane and was never heard from again... getting lost, in fact. Not such a good track record.

That a woman accomplishing what a man has done is virtually impossible and will take much more money and possibly cost lives...
