I've been literally physically ill for the past several days after hearing something disturbing from a reliable source. I've only just now felt well enough to come and share this here.

One of my buddy's girlfriend's father knows someone that works in the white house. Apparently Trump has a plan to revoke voting rights of women, people of color, and anyone on government assistance. Trump has just been waiting for the Supreme Court that will okay his use of executive power to do it. He's been testing the waters of how much SCOTUS will let him get away with his abuse of power and Trump's lawyers seem confident enough to go for it. It could happen any day now.

All of the social progress American has made in the last 150 years seems like it's circling the drain, and it seems there's nothing that we can do about it. We've got to go absolutely ape in the streets pitching the biggest fit we can possibly pitch or else Trump is going to bring theocracy down on all of us.
 
Not a chance. The president doesn't have the power to enact that, and Congress would never even vote on something like that. Don't worry about that happening. I doubt the rumor is even true. One of the reasons Trump won the election is because of women Republican voters.

Why would you feel so ill? I mean, it's not like you haven't been hearing disturbing rumors almost 24/7 for the last 3 years from the mainstream media. And they've been using unnamed sources, too.

Hell, I bet you've believe every single rumor you've heard...just like you believe this one from your buddy's girlfriend's father's acquaintance.

I looked through some of your old posts to see how serious you might be when posting something like this.

As bad as Trump is, you don't have to worry about this. Just in case you really are worried. Our voting rights are explicitly enshrined in the Constitution. He can't undo that. Not even cowardly Republican legislators looking the other way would make this possible.
 
Last time I went ape in the streets I slipped on a banana peel and fell and was laid down for weeks with a crushed coccyx.

It must have been 2nd or 3rd grade when the teacher arranged all the chairs in the class in a single row. We had maybe 15-18 children in the class. She instructed the first kid to convey a short message to the second child and each subsequent child to repeat what they heard to the next classmate. What came out the other end was barely recognizable as the original message. Take a stiff drink and soldier on!
 
As a Trump Presidency Hater, I have to say that this is the biggest load of steaming horse **** that I've ever heard. Well OK, maybe flat earthers are more BS.

Right or wrong legally, it is wrong that the vote of the people can legally steal from those who are productive, and give to those who are irresponsible about their lives and income.
