DC protesters try tearing down Andrew Jackson statue at Lafayette Park, set up 'BHAZ' near White Hou

Everything looks like Marxism when it's not. Marxists look at the class struggle as the ultimate issue of History (capital h) and dismiss issues related to gender, race, sexuality, disability, whatever as distractions intentionally created by the upper crusts to keep the working classes divided, feuding, and exploited.

The Marxist view of History and society has tended to lead to conflict between minorities and Marxists, because Marxists tend to dismiss the grievances and experiences of those folks and tell them to focus their attention on the class struggle instead.

In this case the founders and organizers are trained Marxists. They don't see the class struggle, and the black experience in the US as mutually exclusive. So the rioting they are creating, just resembles chaos, when in reality it is part of a bigger strategic goal, to erase a culture, bring down the republic, and rebuild it in their vision. Keep in mind, by the time their plan is complete, white people will be the minority in America. JMHO

They should be at home. They should know that Making a home and a legacy who will love them is far more satisfying they getting tear gassed for a lie.
Is that what you think women want? To be at home helping whoever create their professional legacy?

Lmao.

Wookies > Trekkies

BLM is not nearly as organized or cohesive as New Left neo-Marxists of the 1960s, so whatever the inclinations of a few of them, this goes far beyond some sort of Port Huron statement. The rest of what you wrote is...well, a bit wild, given the focus. Unless I am not waiting for some sort of argument that it's Marxist gradualism to come from your keyboard--another convenient boogeyman.

And really, I'm fine being a racial minority or plurality in the next few decades. Are you frightened?

I was responding to your statement of: " The Marxist view of History and society has tended to lead to conflict between minorities and Marxists, because Marxists tend to dismiss the grievances and experiences of those folks and tell them to focus their attention on the class struggle instead." I didn't mention fear, or any other type of emotion. I was speculating on the mindset/motivation of the Marxist cofounders of BLM, as it relates to their many demands, violent tactics, and to future demographics. It's interesting that you would feel the need to announce you're "fine being a racial minority or plurality". Are you frightened?:peace

I just said I wasn't frightened, but your post seemed to more than insinuate that when the black and brown people outnumber white people, the republic will be gone...or something to that effect.

It wouldn't be an illegal order. Here's their oath: "I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed"

BLM is a domestic enemy intent on overthrowing our government. Their founders are trained Marxist organizers. This is an insurrection. It's is exactly what the insurrection act is for. There is a core group of Marxists pulling the strings on these willing dupes to bring down our government to make way for a Marxist style of socialism. They don't care about black lives , or any other race that stands in there way. Their goal is to use class warfare to reform our system. The violence is one of their favorite tactics to affect change.

I'm not the only one who knows the oath of office to the Constitution so I'm not the only one to know that ain't it.

Your version is a fragment of the enlisted oath and you omit entirely the officer oath; each oath is anyway to the Constitution, ie, the Law of the Land in contrast to any single individual of the government. No one in the USA is above the law of the land.

Your views on Black Lives Matter are your views and have nothing to do with any law, court ruling or the Constitution. Indeed, you guys of the American Armband Right like to expand on laws inside your own heads only. Your paragraph has nothing to do with anything in statutory law, case law, the Constitution.

So no matter how you slice it it's still baloney.

All of it.

The more desperate you guys get the more off the wall you guys get. That's because the worse Trump makes things the worse Trump gets with the worst of Trump yet to come. It's after then Americans can get some peace and order -- some calm after the storm.

I am being 100% serious.

The breakdown of traditional family and social structures is creating violent and irrational people who can’t function in society.

If the women in this group were in traditional marriages this group wouldn’t exist. We need to address the root causes and not just sarcastically mock these people while feminists are radicalizing more of these every day.

Feminism and Critical race theory and GLBTQ are tools in Critical Theory to undermine society from within. it's been very successful . A product of European communists from the 30's. Pushed by academia. Communist professors are quite numerous in the sociology depts of academia.

You might want to find a more sympathetic character than Andrew Ever-****ing Jackson if you're gonna be victimized on a statue's behalf. Dude was evil.

The only good thing he ever did was beat a congress critter with a cane.

Beating the British in the Battle of New Orleans wasn't a "good thing" to you?

Protester energy could be better spent elsewhere, like, I don't know, D.C. statehood or something

Find a job
Move out of Mom and Dad's basement
Stop eating tide pods

Why? What's wrong with a woman being a mother? That's literally what nature intended.

Dad catches supper. Mom cooks supper.

Mom teaches compassion. Dad teaches when to be compassionate.

I caught dinner, and I am cooking it. My husband isn't in the same country as me, and I am doing perfectly fine running the house and everything outside it...

Hearing men talking like this is really something. It reminds of the ugly butt white supremacists holding signs about their race being superior. As a woman, I trust myself and my own intelligence over the average alt right troll in terms of running my house, my budget, my career, etc. Just because you're a man, it doesn't make you smarter or more talented than me.

I would say a lot of American academics are social democrats--certainly much more to the left than I or a majority of the Democratic Party, but let's just say they don't have a comfortable relationship with communism either. They may excuse the actions of communists, because something something western imperialism, something something, yadda yadda, but they aren't communists. Heck, a lot of them don't exactly have the best relationship with minorities or women either.

This stuff isn't going to last long...

I did see an article suggesting the breakdown and dysfunction of our government is causing this kind of unrest, which makes perfect sense. When the Roman government was in disarray and disfunction, the city literally fell apart and became infested with rats. The government needs to start working, and needs to address the problems and needs of ordinary citizens. Unleashing the national guard on the people is not a solution.

But, you have a husband and agree that single parent households aren't as good for the kids as a two parent household. Right?

Time for Trump to send Federal Troops in because the incompetent DC mayor can't do a damn thing.

WON'T do a damn thing. She's an Anti-Trumper who prefers anarchy over law and order.

Find a job

Not bad, but it wasn't until the last couple months that you had below Great Depression levels of unemployment. Now you have unemployment levels that meaningfully exceed the Great Recession.

But yes, I'd much rather people spend time on the most important matters (getting/maintaining a job) and then protest meaningful reforms rather than get buried in the minutiae of week-to-week, hour by hour, struggles about defining goals, who is engaging with who and what group, and going down rabbit holes.

Move out of Mom and Dad's basement

Whatever is more fiscally responsible, I'd support. I won't begrudge people who are earnestly trying to pay down debt or save to get their own place and are living with their parents until that day comes.

Stop eating tide pods

One of the more obnoxious things about the internet era is that people start fake trends that people think are real and then laugh at people for not getting it's not a real thing. Alas, I too discovered that Generation Z did not have actual tidepod challenges. I wish it had never become an internet fad that was supposed to be ironically enjoyed.

How many regular ole Democrats are sick of this crap too?

I honestly think people are stupid if they allow such stories to bother, annoy, or offend them. Unless you live where this stuff is happening, that's a different story. Most Americans are not being impacted by this kind of stuff. The way this country is, the news cycle will find something else to horrify you about 24/7.

Barefoot and pregnant is what I say!!!!!

And a swat on the ass to get 'em moving a faster with her man's dinner!!!!!

Never should have given them the vote, now look at them, thinking they can express themselves willy nilly... :peace

It, honestly, looks like not very many to me.

And yet, the Dems are in a bind in regards to responding to it.

They can't say "This needs to stop" or they'll end up offending the BIPOC Cultural Jihadists and lose their votes. And yet they can't condone this without looking horrifically weak on Law and Order and getting snubbed by sane voters. Either way, they're ****ed and Trump wins. Trump has called numerous times for police to stop the looting, the CHAZ asswipes and now the ILLEGAL statue removals. He's looking like the stronger when it comes to L&O in this ****.

LOL, it is easy to detect those who believe revisionist history. They have a tendency not to address content but use snark.

The Confederate statues and the entire Lost Cause movement is about revisionist history, and that fact is totally lost on you

Watched a video of them trying to tear the statue down. They had straps/ropes on both side pulling against each other.
Unbelievable idiots.

The kind of dolts who'd "Push" a door with a sign that says "Pull"

And yet Trump wasn't the one who lost control of a portion of a city, unlike Durkan.

No, he hid in a bunker during the protests, then had PEACEFUL protesters pepper sprayed and pushed aside so he could awkwardly pose with a Bible with a confused Sec o D and general in tow. The two of them denounced being used for such a shameless photo-op... :peace
